The whole multiple belts (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, IMF, MFI, Mickey Mouse etc) thing is ridiculous and corrupt and does nothing to further the sport. Pretty soon it will be impossible to unify the titles. The public don't have time for this bullshit.

There should only be one World Champion. There should only be one belt. What a sport, where no one knows who the champions are! Its more like a circus complete with corrupt clowns in charge.

Saunders knows he has something others want and will try to get paid accordingly. Cannot blame BJS for this situation, he's actually been very upfront about all this.

Billy Joe Saunders claimed that K2 only offered a $1.5m payday for him to face Golovkin. There's a good chance that he would have commanded similar sums, or even better, against the likes of Andy Lee, Eubank Jr. or Canelo, which are opponents that he would be far more competitive against.

It wouldn't surprise me if Billy Joe is looking for one final big payday before riding off into the sunset and into retirement.

Kazakh government or oligarchs can pay him that. Things will become more clear next week after Golovkin becomes available.
