As much as GGG didn't look vintage...

....his opponent's performance should be praised more than anything!
Showed good chin, solid footwork and movement to outmanoeuvre the normally commanding Golovkin, good solid jab, great body punches here n' there...no doubt this is a huge question mark over GGG, but stop to realise that he's never messed with such an awkward style as the one put into fruition by the brilliant Jacobs.

And he got up off the deck to keep doing it, too.

Regardless of the result Jacobs looked very good and deserves credit
I'd do it again before worrying about GGG vs BJS or Canelo

I think if everyone watched the fight again they may see it different, there's fights like that all the time, even if it's just one round you change. I nearly always forget to score the later rounds when it's so jaw droppingly tense.

GGG would have to KO Canelo to win. Team Canelo may have waited long enough to make the fight. Hopefully we will see this fall.

Jacobs fought to not lose, any time he stood and engaged he lost. Call it 6-6, the knock down was the 1 point difference for the decision. Good not great fight.

Canelo's people know all of that which is why they will find a way to keep Canelo away from GGG.

He landed a lot more in a lot of the exchanges, mostly by making GGG miss.
