Beat Marian Cazacu over 4 rounds last night in Barcelona
Must've been. Strange one. There was a few cards over here last night he must've been able to get a run out on surely?Cazelo wrote:Clever. Get him back in the winning track as you don't want to go in to a cross roads bout following a knock out loss.
MGM link set this up maybe

Expect gasps of surprise from ringside next time Liam fights in the U.K ("ooh he's throwing punches early, I'm not sure about this tactic, it's bold and innovative, it might just catch on")

Riddle solved. Joes got a bit of stuff over there that needed a seeing to. He's a fly bastard.
Unveiling a bold and innovative tactical plan is particularly risky against such a dangerous opponent, hats off to Tesco Joe he proves the critics wrong againBigDoofus wrote:Fantastic win for Beefy. Cazacu is a dangerous opponent who has won 2 of his 41 fights. The long unbeaten run of Tesco Joe (excluding title fights) continues. Give him a biscuit.
Have you heard anything to make you think that?samwbr wrote:him v Williams is going to be for a vacant world title now, Smith couldn't fight for it coming off a loss. Cynical move but understandable.
everything I've read today seems to point to it. Has to be a good reason why they did it.maverick23 wrote:Have you heard anything to make you think that?samwbr wrote:him v Williams is going to be for a vacant world title now, Smith couldn't fight for it coming off a loss. I'd be surprised - the fight is only 3 weeks ago and it seems stupid to have not sorted it out by now as it would really help in selling the card.
Are you thinking WBO title?
I'm not sure why Canelo would give up the title now. If he were to then I would have thought he'd have done it when the fight with Chavez Jr was announced.samwbr wrote:everything I've read today seems to point to it. Also, if it is for the WBO title, then fighters have fought for the vacant title coming off a loss before. Jessie Vargas I think did it.
It's been announced the fight is now for the 'interim' WBO title.rhino222 wrote:ok, if this is the case then i can see why.maverick23 wrote:I'm not sure why Canelo would give up the title now.
