What is with this stupid common sense like 'GGG didn't T/K.O Jacobs, so he lost' ? Blind hate ?

People are used to see GGG ktfo his opponents. So b/c he got a 12 rds decision it doesn't mean he lost !

I agree that Jacobs really tested him and showed that he's a very good fighter and I'd like to see a rematch but c'mon people, GGG won fair and square!

I had golovkin 7-5 with an extra point for the knock down. jacobs boxed nicely and fought to not lose.

Golovkin did win fair-and-square and the decision was almost certainly “no robbery”, but there were too many rounds that were incredibly difficult to score… and this gave fight fans good reason to favour Jacobs by decision (if they thought he was more effective inside the ring).

For instance: Can anybody really say that there was a clear winner of each of the first three rounds?

I think GGG jabbed the hell ou of Jacobs and landed more clean shots. Jacobs was 'stealing' some rounds with his combos but those were hitting GGG's guard.

Jacobs, definitely, has to improve his jab.......IMHO, 114-113 GGG...

So it was a draw if not for the round 4 kd?

No, it wasn't that close.

Did you score it realtime?

I was posing the queston to valmar since he had the fight 114-113 like one of the judges. The other two had 3G by 3 points, so if not for the KD they would have had it by two for Gennady or a draw if Jacobs got the round.

I was on a job and missed it live. Still haven't seen it but it seems clear from what I am reading that 3G did his version of what Once Upon A Time did with Danny.

People who are saying GGG or Jacobs clearly won are idiots with agendas.
The fight was very close, and 8 rounds to GGG is ridiculous.

Also, Jacobs was coming forward throwing power shots,
but the OP is trying to create a reality in which Jacobs was landing ineffective flurries.

There is such bias, albeit celebrity, ethnicity, race, nationality, in this world right now.

I think this fight should be an immediate rematch.

The truth hurts! A kazakh fighter beat some black-american fighter on his home turf in US and some insecure fanboys saw it as a draw or even a robbery. How the fuk is that ? When Ward was wrestling Kovalev for 12 rds and he even got dropped , then the same people saw it like a fair and just win for Ward !

Time for GGG to add that WBO belt to his superb collection. :OhYes:

I would like to see a unification with Billy Joe's WBO belt or a rematch with Jacobs.

6-6 in rounds, and KD --114-113 GGG.....Some rounds were very close, but, Jacobs didn't win more than six rounds...No way...

Not sure who this post is targeting but I have no personal opinion on how 3G v Jacobs went since I have not seen it yet. I did score the Krusher v SOGgy fight for Andre, very close.

I am looking forward to viewing and scoring last night's fight soon.

I had Golovkin winning 7 rounds with one round 10-10, 116-112.

Fair enough. Thanks.
