What do you think about this potential fight ? Who wins ? How ? Why ?

Jacobs is the better boxer but if Lemieux lands flush he can knock anyone out.

Jacobs via late stoppage or wide decision, though Lemieux has a big puncher's chance. Jacobs proved in the GGG fight that he doesn't have a weak chin - he was hurt but not out cold from a huge punch against Pirog and the Mora KD was a flash knockdown, while his knockdown against GGG was mostly a balance thing, though it was a legit KD.

Golovkin fought overly cautious. Lemieux would be his usual self and could stop Jacobs early. I would say, it is 50/50 fight.

The opposite could also happen.

No he can't. He can knock out Curtis Stevens after landing dozens of flush bombs. Definitely a puncher, but he ain't no earnie shavers.

Yes, he can. Lemi is a powerful puncher.

N'Dam is a unique case. Both Quillin and Lemieux kept dropping him, but he kept getting up. Jacobs is not that case.

If this fight happens, then GGG will probably fight Billy Joe.

Ahhh, so he can knock out anyone with one punch except for the guys he fought and couldn't?

Ggg is fighting Billy Joe. This fight won't happen anytime soon.

Jacobs game plan was perfect and he stuck to it and still came up a little short. He looked better last night than he really is. He's a better boxer and has faster hand than Lemieux, but David can bang and is always dangerous. It'd be a great fight, I'd slightly favor Jacobs. I'd rather see this than an immediate rematch with GGG. Let's do GGG-BJS and Lemieux-Jacobs and then let the winners fight this winter.

Can knock out anyone and actually knocking out everyone are two different things and you obviously know that. I mean even beloved Earnie didn't knock out everyone he faced...

great fight, always love it when 2punchers go at it. jacobs moves to well his upper body, lemieaux would have a tough time. also the versatility changing stances etc combined with the power, jacobs by UD

Tough call. very tough call

I like Lemieux in this one despite Jacobs performing much better in the GGG bout. I would bet my house on it though

His power is getting severely overrated.

I think the fight would be tougher for Jacobs than GGG was because Lemieux isn't as smart as GGG in the ring; basically he'll stay aggressive and load up whereas Golovkin clearly was adjusting his style for Jacobs last night. Of course Lemieux gassing would also be a possibility so Jacobs could potentially cruise late.

Perhaps, but at the end of the day his power is enough to potentially end or change the flow of any MW fight he is involved in. That's all that's important here.
