What do you think about this potential fight ? Who wins ? How ? Why ?

Jacobs proved in the GGG fight that he doesn't have a weak chin - he was hurt but not out cold from a huge punch against Pirog and the Mora KD was a flash knockdown, while his knockdown against GGG was mostly a balance thing, though it was a legit KD.
I agree.boxing_rocks wrote:Golovkin fought overly cautious. Lemieux would be his usual self and could stop Jacobs early. I would say, it is 50/50 fight.
The opposite could also happen.ValMar wrote:I agree.boxing_rocks wrote:Golovkin fought overly cautious. Lemieux would be his usual self and could stop Jacobs early. I would say, it is 50/50 fight.
Yes....50/50....Tanzio wrote:The opposite could also happen.ValMar wrote:I agree.boxing_rocks wrote:Golovkin fought overly cautious. Lemieux would be his usual self and could stop Jacobs early. I would say, it is 50/50 fight.
No he can't. He can knock out Curtis Stevens after landing dozens of flush bombs. Definitely a puncher, but he ain't no earnie shavers.Ian1973 wrote:Jacobs is the better boxer but if Lemieux lands flush he can knock anyone out.
Yes, he can. Lemi is a powerful puncher.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:No he can't. He can knock out Curtis Stevens after landing dozens of flush bombs. Definitely a puncher, but he ain't no earnie shavers.Ian1973 wrote:Jacobs is the better boxer but if Lemieux lands flush he can knock anyone out.
Anyone? Even Fabio Rios or njikam? I stand corrected.ValMar wrote:Yes, he can. Lemi is a powerful puncher.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:No he can't. Ahhh, so he can knock out anyone with one punch except for the guys he fought and couldn't?boxing_rocks wrote:N'Dam is a unique case. Both Quillin and Lemieux kept dropping him, but he kept getting up. Jacobs is not that case.
Ggg is fighting Billy Joe. This fight won't happen anytime soon.RScarf1 wrote:If this fight happens, then GGG will probably fight Billy Joe.
Can knock out anyone and actually knocking out everyone are two different things and you obviously know that. I mean even beloved Earnie didn't knock out everyone he faced...SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Ahhh, so he can knock out anyone with one punch except for the guys he fought and couldn't?boxing_rocks wrote:N'Dam is a unique case. His power is getting severely overrated.punchoutsb wrote:Can knock out anyone and actually knocking out everyone are two different things and you obviously know that. I think the fight would be tougher for Jacobs than GGG was because Lemieux isn't as smart as GGG in the ring; basically he'll stay aggressive and load up whereas Golovkin clearly was adjusting his style for Jacobs last night. Of course Lemieux gassing would also be a possibility so Jacobs could potentially cruise late.davie wrote:Tough call. very tough call
I like Lemieux in this one despite Jacobs performing much better in the GGG bout. I would bet my house on it though
Perhaps, but at the end of the day his power is enough to potentially end or change the flow of any MW fight he is involved in. That's all that's important here.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:His power is getting severely overrated.punchoutsb wrote:Can knock out anyone and actually knocking out everyone are two different things and you obviously know that. That's the fun bit about opinions isn't it.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I don't agree.punchoutsb wrote:Perhaps, but at the end of the day his power is enough to potentially end or change the flow of any MW fight he is involved in.
