I was watching some of his matches recently and decided to look into his career a little ;
When he was 20 years old he represented Nigeria at 1990 Commonwealth games as a welterweight winning Gold
When he was 22 he represented Nigeria at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as a light middleweight, where he was eliminated in the first round by Raul Marquez!
When he was 26 he represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics as a Heavyweight!!! Winning a silver medal, losing out only to the great Felix Savon in the final.
Consider that he was a 6ft 5 inch welterweight with an 82 inch reach and then campaigned as a professional heavyweight at up to 238lbs - so in affect he increased 100lbs in weight! A quite staggering increase.
