What do they think he’s going to do? He’s only going for a few days and will probably never trouble them again. This is not so much vindictive as...needless. Is Fury a Brit or Irish? Is New Zealand a former British colony? Because we shipped all manner of cons in that direction a while back......just let the man in, he won’t rustle any sheep or sell any drugs to your kids and let him be on his way!

Lol, Fury got busten for a 10 stretch in ’05 then went back again in ’08 for similar offences....what is with some people , and secondly, how on Earth do you only get a two-er when you’ve already been in lock-up (or sentenced) to 10 years - for similar offences?

Unnecessary for sure but Fury has benefitted from crime materially so he can't feel too sorry for himself. I do wonder how it will affect Hughie though as he is very much in awe of hiss father.

I thought the ten stretch was for speed and the two was for money laundering.

You have to declare convictions, same as trying to gain entry to the US. It's in his passport too so if he turned up they'd turn him away if he didn't have a visa.

Its there country , there laws , same in the states , and i'm not sure but think it applys too Australia .. So it was always going to happen , and why not are they expected to change there policies to cater to the whims of a convicted drug dealer and gangster .

Only thing i find bewildering is if he got 10 years in 2005 , what the fornicate was he doing out to get another two years in 2008 .. There Laws , there policies , there country , if anything Britain shouild be just has vigilant in who they let in .

Stupid practice if you ask me. Especially for the Commonwealth realm. Now we do not get a good fight because of bureaucracy.

He got the two for financial irregularities. He's since paid back a million pounds.

I've heard he's been done for drugs many years ago if its true then that's probably why he's been refused

Tyson (Mike, not Fury obviously) had loads of issues getting into the UK, didn't he? I'm sure he was denied entry at some point.

And declare feck all, there's no magic database they use in airports to check who has/hasn't got a conviction.
