Did Spence accidently told Brook his weaknesses?

during the press con spence told brook not to run and stay in the middle the ring.
spence being the bigger puncher sure wants his target to stand there and take the punishmant like all the slow footed c class opponents he has been facing
now for the first time he is going to face somebody athletic, somebody with upper body movemant and somebody with footwork and speed. it would be he would train his boxing style to adjust to brooks style while also maintaining his power and aggressivnes. but like danny found out when he lost to the slicker, with better footwork thurman. if you want to be at the very top, you need to be able to beat brawlers and boxer who move a lot. by saying "dont move, stay in the middle of the ring" soence is basicly admitting that he has a problem with brooks slickness and wants no part of that
i see spence the winner, but if brook can focus on footwork/footspeed and doing a fight à la mayweather/lara than the slower spence might have a evening of problems.

I don't think he's slick at all.. i suspect he might just stand there and trade like he did vs. GGG.. his biggest asset isn't his footwork or speed, its his power. In his prev opponents bar Porter, he's knows he's had the advantage being the bigger and stronger man, so he's always come forward.. let's see if he shows Spence any respect. I have a small feeling it will go the distance, but spence will need to win decisevly if that happens..

I think to beat Spence you need to have extremely good mobility that's for sure. I expect it to be a very good fight. I'm not a betting man but if I had to back one I would put my money on Spence.
Having said that Brooks was always on a loser facing Golovkin at MW but he remains a real handful for anyone at welter provided he isn't weak at the weight.

God Bless Brook for taking this fight but it's too soon after that injury he suffered against GGG. I don't see how that injury isn't a factor in this fight. Brook's going to get hit a lot in this one and will have to gut it out and I just wonder how long the eye will hold up. I worry about that.

Spence has got it all. Brook is in serious trouble. I don't see how he lasts the distance.

Well that settles it then. Brook will have to move, otherwise Spence will target that eye and end it early.
The good thing about the Ingle's is that their fighters know all about mobility. Whether they choose to stand and trade is normally their own decision. But this time there is no choice, unless Brook really believes he can get Spence out early.

Team Brook would be
dumberer than that tool who claims that Wlad is "THE WORST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IN HISTORY" if they put Kell back into the ring before being completely recovered to fight Spence. I doubt that they are that dumb.

If Kell makes the weight comfortably I think he wins this, as good as Spence has looked he hasn't fought anyone, let alone arguably the best WW in the world.

Stalker, lol. Brook will fighting 8 months after broken orbital bone surgery. I like to play doctor with girls and my professional opinion says that it's not enough time. Remember when Manny pounded Margarito and broke his orbital bone? He fought Cotto over a year later and the ref called the fight on the account of that eye when Margariot was making a comeback. Maybe it's not as bad as Margarito's? Probably. They would be dumb to chance it with this kid. That would be Wlad kind of boring...dumb...worst champion ever kind of stuff.

Brook's doctor said with the titanium they put in it should be stronger than it was originally. Brook said he isn't worried about it at all. Its good his fans do all the worrying for him with his eye, his weight, etc.
We know both guys have good offense and power. The real question is what kind of punch Spence can take with this step up in competition. I expect him to take anything Brook has, and stop Brook late. Brook claims he is the southpaw slayer and is going to smash Spence's face in? He hasn't fought a southpaw anywhere near on the level as Spence. I think Brook will be more surprised with Spence than the other way around.

We will see. I think that the weight issue will be a bigger factor than that orbital. But, both are just excuses. Brook is not a kid or a slave. He is ultimately responsible for what he chooses to do, given the intelligence available, just as you are responsible for the dumbest claim in Current Scene history, no matter the content or lack thereof betwixt your ears.

Again, we will see. I agree that a lot will depend on Spence's ability to take the power of Brook. But it also will depend on Spence's ability to avoid the majority of those punches.
Errol has taken far too much incoming v lesser competition without the power to earn his respect. Will he be able to avoid the power of an individual who he must respect, and who is more gifted and skilled than anyone he has yet faced? If he gets rocked v Brook, how will he respond?
Brook was stopped by injury inflicted by 3G. He was not KTFO. If he can just keep it relatively close and cross the finishline, Kell will very likely get the decision.

Brook is a good counter puncher and Spence is defendively at times, a little leaky. I remember his fight with the African Lartey- he got conclusively buzzed at the end of one of the rounds.
Regarding Brook having a titanium plate now; i'd be more concerned about Spence's body punches than punches to the head.

Bloody hell, and people said brook had nothing to lose in the triple g fight and now he has a plate in his head! The risks they take!

Excellent fight. I'm slightly leaning towards Spence because I don't think Kell will be 100% on the night having to make 147 again. I'm not writing Brook off because he has genuine power and a first class jab. Home advantage is a bonus as well obviously.

It's crazy that people say Spence will lose because Kell is too good but if he wins its only because Kell had trouble making weight. So really Spence will not get credit for beating Brook.

True, Kell Brook has a heart as big as Sheffield. But having a plate in your head, titanium or otherwise is not a good thing - especially when it will be targeted. If it breaks again....
On the other hand, it can't be worse than facing Golovkin.
Brook and Jacobs are indeed brave men.
Both have looked death in the face. No man can frighten them after that. Like Jacobs said 'He would have to kill me to keep me down'. I'm certain he meant it.

What amazes me is that Brook's eye was damaged in round two. He hits the deck in round three, but still apparently had the confidence about winning so he keeps on. Round four GGG begins stepping up his attack with some hard body shots that clearly showed Brook was in pain. The fifth saw GGG increase his attack even more, landing by far his highest % of shots. Brook landed by far his lowest %. The end was near, and it was stopped before GGG had a chance to KTFO Brook. The towel was not thrown in because of the eye in my opinion. GGG landed about 45% total of everything he threw, showing Brook's defense is quite poor.
I do think Spence has to stop him to get a fair decision in the venue it will be at, as the crowd will roar every time he throws, whether he is connecting or not.
I'm not as convinced as most that Brook has a huge heart. He turned down a fight with Bradley for the title, couldn't get a fight made with Alexander, Rios, or Chavez for one reason or another. All winnable fights for him possibly, but maybe his confidence level has never been what some make it out to be?
