Sorry fellas! We had to make a last minute change moments before we went to press, and that was the easiest way of doing it with time very much against us. It will be back next week. I hope you find enough to enjoy in the other 47 pages.

Who decided to put Rungvsgai in the lb for lb list? He beat one of the best lb for lb fighters but through size mostly- not ability. Which is exactly the point of a lb for lb list- who is best if all things were equal? Clearly If size wasn't an issue there would only have been one winner last weekend...

you what? they boxed at 115, both made the weight limit. no one forced choc ice to go up higher to prove how great he was.

I never said anyone forced him to step up. But Gonzalez losing because of a bad decision does not mean Rungvsai is a great.

It wasn't a bad decision. Anyway he's got to be pretty good to beat Gonzalez.

Rungvsai at #4 seems far too high to me. If Cuadras beats him again next fight, is Cuadras then P4P top 5?

Gonzalez is a great fighter, but I think he was fighting above his best weight, and I can't say that he's looked a special talent at 115. Rungvsai is tough as nails, but I had him losing and I don't consider him to be among the sport's elite handful of fighters; in fact, going by ability, I'm not sure that I've previously seen someone that out of place in P4P lists.

Incidentally, while we're on BN ratings:

-When is Rigo going to drop from the P4P list (currently at #6)? He's done nothing significant in years and his only bout since 2015 was against James Dickens. I wouldn't say that getting dropped twice by Amagasa was P4P elite stuff either, and he's turning 37 soon, so I imagine that it's down rather than up from here.

-WTF is with Barroso still being #5 at lightweight? He's been there for nearly a year and it's an awful ranking. I would love to hear an explanation for it

I meant it was a bad decision to fight at that weight - the judges decison was correct.

Also, how is it that P4P unranked Inoue is still ahead of Rungvisai at 115? That could make sense if Rung had gotten his P4P spot on the basis of wins in other divisions, but that's not the case here. Further, Warren is still #2 at 118, while the guy who beat him last fight is unranked.

This is just per the online rankings btw.
