Right now, is there anyone who could offer him more than Matchroom? I doubt it.

Joshua will certainly be with Matchroom for as long as they have the exclusive Sky deal.

After that (if it does ever end), who knows.

No need to consider leaving.
Maybe negotiate a higher percentage a few fights down the line but as it stands now he is making an absolute fortune, why rock the boat?

A loss would make it very interesting, though I don't think matchroom would drop him, and I after a short rebuild I think he'd be in a stent position again.

Calzaghe, Hatton and Hamed all left one promoter. It remains to be seen how Matchroom develop but if Joshua is making more with them than he could elsewhere, (and it seems reasonable to suggest he is), then he'll stay.

Hatton left Warren and got bigger fights. Joshua could leave Matchroom now but is there anything realistically much bigger for him at this stage than Wlad at Wembley? Probably not.

He ain't going nowhere, he might set up some promo company and copromote etc but I think he'll stick with Hearn.

Matchroom have made him a star and a very rich man, they take care of the details. I can't see it myself. You are right though, if Joshua wins his next fight any network would want him. The kid is going to be huge if he was this.

With Joshua's popularity with the casual fans this would fly.. He can get the 20% Matchroom take and smash Sky's numbers.. Imagine he beats Klitscho and we got Joshua v Tyson Fury on ITV PPV I think 2-3 million buys would be more than possible

AJ signed a three year contract extension at the end of 2015 interesting what happens this year.

Don't see why he would leave if he keeps winning and making serious money

Didn't Warrington, DeGale & Selby all leave him? I'm not 100% certain on the details but I thought that was the case.

As others have stated I can see Joshua gaining more control over his career as he matures mentally but as long as Eddie's delivering the big fights why should he leave.

Obviously the answer is more money But does he want the hassle?

Warrington left him but the promotional arrangement with Selby and Degale was that Hearn promoted them domestically. He was ringside and from memory walked to the ring with Degale for the Jack fight so he's definitely still involved.

3 million buys would mean roughly one in every twenty people alive in the UK was buying it. That plainly isn't going to happen.

While he's heavyweight champion of the world AJ could leave sky and still be on box office. That title is the only one that makes you top of the game and genuinely invincible

Long term, assuming he keeps winning and it all goes to plan etc, he'd be mad not to go it alone.

Why share a sizeable piece of the pie? It's his career and he is the one in the ring taking risks. I like seeing fighters leave the 'traditional promoter' and make a success of it themselves.
