What do you think about this potential match ? The winner vs. Lomachenko ?

Linares doesn't look sturdy enough for me. I such a difference between Crolla and Garcia. I think Linares has plateau in the Crolla fights.Ruthless-RKO wrote:I wouldn't wright Linares completely off. I still favor Garcia.
Would be a terrific fight. Doubt it woud go the distance, or if it does, would be close margins.
Linares has power and great speed when it comes to his combos, but i'm not sure he can KO an opponent. Maybe a TKO or RTD..
Garcia however has that KO punch power and speed. Linares isn't that hard to catch.
Gamboa has wasted his potential, and he is too small for LW....Jip wrote:linares is overrated.
garcia vs gamboa or verdejao, than against divisions # rances
loma stays where he is, he has to clean out his division and give davis a shot, before moving up
Who was at those division 126 and 130 that he could have legit fight at that time remember he was with top rank.caldo2025 wrote:IT will be a good fight between Linares and Garcia but I think that Garcia wins that one and possibly wins by KO. We'll never see Lomachenko and Garcia fight so let's not even talk about it. I'm wondering if we'll even see Garcia get in there with Linares as Garcia is a cherry picker so far. 3 division champion and i can't think of one big fight he's had.
Cmon expert, rances is at 140!Jip wrote:linares is overrated.

Garcia/Linares is a huge fight that has P4P implications. Flanagan/Petrov is interesting, too. That's gotta be Flanagan's toughest defense yet.
I thought Garcia was moving up to 140 as well.jujigatame wrote:I think Barthelemy vacated his title at 135 to move to 140, which is why Easter and Commey fought for the vacant title. But BoxRec still ranks him at 135 because he hasn't fought at 140 yet.

The Demarco loss was nearly six years ago. Demarco may have lost six fights but most of those were to quality opponents. He put forth a relatively super human effort to defeat Linares that night.Jip wrote:jujigatame wrote:I think Barthelemy vacated his title at 135 to move to 140, which is why Easter and Commey fought for the vacant title. so with rances leaving there aint no clear #1 since easter is new and garcia got a comeback....
rances is for real, hope him or dongo fight crawford. as far as 135, easter and garcia should fight, think they the 2 best in the division, linares, cant take a guy serious who lost to demarco.
Rances and Dejan probably do in Linares. Crazy that Dejan was getting touted as a huge favorite across forums against Linares. After getting KO'd by a p4p-caliber fighter like Mikey, it's like he doesn't exist. If Mikey didn't ruin him, I think Dejan can still beat some credible opponents.Tanzio wrote:The Demarco loss was nearly six years ago. Who besides Mikey can you definitively pick to defeat present day Linares?
I would probably pick Barthelemy over Linares, but as pointed out by others, Rances has relocated to 140. I don't think Zlaticanin is on Linares level thoughMexi-Box wrote:Rances and Dejan probably do in Linares. Crazy that Dejan was getting touted as a huge favorite across forums against Linares. Zlaticanin is on Linares' level. People had him rated as the #1 lightweight for a while, and when they were in talks, he was touted as a heavy favorite over Linares. I don't think Linares and Zlaticanin are on Mikey's level is what it is. I think Mikey beats everyone from 135 lbs. and down.Tanzio wrote:I would probably pick Barthelemy over Linares, but as pointed out by others, Rances has relocated to 140. I know how he has been rated. I disagree with you and those ratings, but I would love to see the fight.Mexi-Box wrote:Zlaticanin is on Linares' level.
