Anyone have any info on his training or life since the blowout against Povetkin?

I thought he was going to do well but he seemed to fall apart after the Magomed Abdusalamov affair.

Is he still based out of Cork (my mums hometown)? His fight, first in almost 2 years, is in Dublin next weekend.

All I know is he's on the Kieran Farrell promoted bill.
Heard a rumour he likes a Guinness.
Good fighter if motivated (which has been the problem for most Cubans)

He was supposed to be on a show in Dublin this Saturday, but that folded yesterday. Then I got a message asking if I would put him on my show in Dublin next month but later that day saw the Kiers has put him on his show in Belfast.

I’ve seen a few photos of him in training this week and he looks in the best shape I’ve ever seen him, really pared-down, almost cruiserweight shape. It’ll be interesting to see what he comes in at.

I heard he was fighting for Assassin Promotions - a Brighton-based outfit.
