Legendary five-time world champion, Evander Holyfield will be featured in May, in a very anticipated exhibition bout that will pit him against former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT).

According to a statement by Foluke Michael, the Project Manager of the fight, tagged “Rhumbles in Lagos’’, the match will take place on the 25th of May at the Eko Atlantic City and will be beamed live to the world. Holyfield is 54, while Tinubu is 65.

The charity event is the first of its kind on the African continent, she said.

It will be refereed by Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka.

If this is really happening, it's just a fun publicity stunt. No punches will be thrown. Wole Soyinka is refereeing, ffs. This would be like Holyfield "fighting" Barack Obama with Maya Angelou as referee.
