Hoping that you can clear something up. whats with the talk on what I have read on social media that you have turned down a fight with Christina Linardatou?

Personally I think you should have too much for her but would be interested to know what you think?
Cheers.

Not heard or read anything about this ,, But too be fair I doubt if Katie would turn down, or for that matter accept anything, unless her management team made the discision ,, at this stage in her carreer with money being spent , she will just do has she's told ..

Was just looking down the rankings there. Damn, there's a lot of good Argentinian Women boxers in the lightweight division.

Delfine Persoon is the one to be beating. She's racked up some wins in the lightweight division.

Half a foot taller than Katie too...I'd like to see how KT uses her impressive abilities to deal with that.

I've watched her three times now, once in person and I'm impressed, and perfectly happy to see her on future shows. Morrison's bloody ending aside, her fight was probably the highlight of Saturday's undercard (not that there was much competition).
As to what female fights add to a card, which is oft-discussed, seeing her in action has made my missus, who has around a "casual" level of interest and knowledge much more interested and wants to see her fight more. So there's a new fan there, and myself too.
If Katie is lurking, I'd like to ask how she feels about being introduced by the MC as "It's time to meet the ladies"... Seems a bit "Novelty" of them to do so when it's a legitimate fight. They don't introduce the others as it being "time to meet the men".

Because it is a novelty.

I'm a huge fan of Taylor (as my fanboy-ness may come across in the RBR threads

), and I have looked forward to all of her fights thus far. There will always be slight misogyny when it comes to women's boxing, and the RBR threads often show parts of that - though almost all of it is in jest, so the 'novelty' factor will exist for at least another 12 months or so in my opinion.
Taylor is terrifically talented, and one of very few female boxers that have the ability to add weight to a card currently...such a pure talented boxer, who is a joy to watch.

She's quite nice to watch and has some good skills, but doesn't deserve to be so high up the card for what are basically early pro career fights doing 6x2 or 8x2. Seems like they are really trying to push it big time and it comes across to me a bit 'trying too hard', reality of it is these fights so far are non-events yet get the slot of right before the main fight on some pretty big cards.

She's usually been the live float to be fair.

Amateurs looking to change women's boxing to 3 minute rounds.
Be good if they did the same professionally.

Amateur olympic stars have always tended to feature quite high up the bill. Look at Sugar Ray for a good example and Audley Harrison for a bad one.

And of course, AJ. As a consumer, I don't find it a problem, either the fighter flops - AH, succeeds (at least economically) - AJ, or somewhere in between eg DeGale.
