Two great fights. Nelson was very destructive on his best nights. Fenech was my dad's favourite active fighter when I was a boy. I liked Nelson better especially after he had beat Gomez.

- Was mum during the Mr Field challenge because I tire of beating up his record, but Fenech/Nelson 1 was another of Kings clear daylight robberies.
Classic set up controversy to sell the rematch as was his M/O that King also used in the regrettable Field/Ruiz trilogy and the Lewis rematch, ect, et al. At any rate, Fenech and many other better HOFers than Big Dummy Bowe, so maybe they can buy a Walmart put out of service store to accommodate these guys.

The first fight, Jeff Fenech won it. It was a great fight, though. Lots of blows in a very action-packed fight.

Rounds 6 and 8 I was leaning towards Fenech late, so I could have scored that wider.... Never a draw

A bunch of us watched the first fight in a pub and the entire joint was in disbelief at the draw. Fenech clearly won. The same bunch went to the rematch and were stunned at how well Nelson fought. Then we all got drunk

I enjoyed all 3 fights, even the 3rd which I just watched there was entertaining, Fenech throws an incredible amount of punches for a 44 year old who'd been retired 12 years, Nelson himself showing little glimpses of his old self
