I can't remember a thread on this subject, who are your picks and why?

With my excellent memory on fighters and fights, I'm awful with the rest. Nobody had more bullshit moves than Steele on the few I can remember. The best refs are out of sight and mind.

Victor Loughlin from Paisley is the boy

Howard Foster, Ian John Lewis and Terry O'conner take their share of stick

If you have no recollection of the ref, he did a good job.

Historically, Steele, Tony Perez, and Zack Clayton weren't very good. Steele had some questionable stoppages. Perez allowed holding and hugging and Clayton counted to 10 like he was double parked.

Roger Yanez displayed the single worst officiating in the Alex Garcia vs Bernard Benton match. I'm not sure if it's on YouTube...but to say he fell asleep while Benton was getting mercilessly beaten is an understatement..

I will have to watch it. Ref Roger Tilleman in the Reid vs Ottke fight was about as bad as I can remember.

Someone said before that he warned Reid for punching Ottke in the face.
I assumed he was being sarcastic but this fight again gets a mention for poor refereeing. How bad was it?

Seriously bad. Yes I recall he done something stupid like that. Reid also dropped Ottke with a decent shot and the ref ruled it a slip. He generally just stopped Reid from fighting and it go to the point that Reid just gave up trying.

Heres a bit, Duke Mckenzie is commentating also says its the worse refereeing he has ever seen.

Terrible officiating, no doubt, though unlike McKenzie I'm not convinced that a knockdown should've been called. Seems to me like Reid may have cuffed Ottke with his wrist.

I'll nominate Manfred Kuchler, who at least twice disqualified visiting boxers who looked on their way to victories; first there was the lowblow DQ of Cisse Salif when he was battering Alexander Pekovic with legal shots, then a rabbit punch DQ of Sophia Matthis when she flattened Christina Hammer with a punch to the ear. The latter result was so dubious that it was overturned to a no contest.

Enzo-Oville I is the worst stoppage I've seen. I think Enzo's previous losses influenced IJL too much, and with him in that mindset Enzo never really had a chance; it was essentially 'you get caught with a decent shot, I'm stopping it'...

Whomever the guy was in murata's last fight that lifted up the knocked out opponent is in the running.

He ruled it a slip though. The ref was standing the other side of Ottke so even if Reid did cuff him (which personally I don't think he did) the ref wouldn't have been in the right position to see it anyway. Quite rightly Tilleman was never allowed to officiate a major fight after this.

He is a better video showing snippets from various incidents throughout the entire fight
