WTF?

Johnny Nelson - Braggadocios

Ronald Mackintosh - Discombobulate

I do chuckle when they come out with these 'peaches' but are these lads scouring the thesaurus for words and phrases?

Any more anywhere?

Sure is, though it looks super-imposed. Found it on his website which has a collection of interesting photos.

Nothing beats Macintosh's "exhaling his cheeks like a set of bellows"

There must be a place in hell where you have to listen to the commentary of Adam Smith alongside Ronald Macintosh.

Yes, I believe this phrase is the most grandiloquent, portentous and pleonastic verbal vomit I have heard in boxing commentating.

Heard him say about a fighter's " fistic future " .

What a gem

It's also rubbish, you don't exhale your cheeks, you exhale breath.

Before I couldn't stand Ron, and I am still flummoxed at how that buffoon ever got a job,
But I've grown to enjoy his odd turns of phrase. He just needs to be teamed with someone who knows boxing...

The thought of a Ron and Adam Smith double team just makes my blood run cold...

Great point. Though those malapropisms may form part of Ron's unique charm

Yes.... I'm sure Ronald is anaspeptic, frasmotic, even conpunctuos to have caused anyone such pericombobulations.

I'd like to spend an evening with big Ron after he'd done enginormousalically amounts of speed

That would be a brutal 10 hour mash
