Set to take place on Sunday for the WBA "regular" Super Bantamweight title.

Japanese fan site has backed Kubo by 60% (30% overall vote for decision and 30% overall vote for stoppage), 39% for Cermeno (17% for TKO and 22 for decision) and 1% for draw.

For Cermeno this will be his third defense, and he has stated that he's looking to face Tomoki Kameda later in the year. For Kubo the bout marks his first at world level and sees him looking to follow in the footsteps of former stable mate Hozumi Hasegawa.

It will be televised on Kansai TV, their first live world title fight since 1988 according to the channels website!

If Cermeno is still at the level he was last year in China, he'll handle Kubo with ease.

And even if he loses, he'll still have the name "Nehomar."
