Jim Neily & Richie Woodall off air comments

When the afternoon session of boxing just ended one of the mics was left on and if you turned the volume up you could hear what Jim and Richie were saying thinking they were of air. Among the comments you could hear were -
Jim Neily "....... is a bit of a fat bastard is'nt he, Richie could probably take him" cue laughter from Richie and someone else
Jim Neily "theres noone on the main coverage introducing the fighters correctly or showing the good fights. None of them give a fornicate about the boxing"

The BBC have a history of this sort of thing, I remember Sue Thearle during an FA Cup match of the day broadcast drop her mic and shout "Oh shit"...and that was still shown at 11 o'clock at night! There sound and editing team are crap

have to say i noticed that you could hear them...but as the boxing finished i changed the channels, i should of listened in. Good to know that Niely and Woodhall aren't puppets. They are working their arses off, about 6-8 hours of boxing a day, and less than 30 mins of it is being shown on the main coverage...then again the same goes for a lot of sports. Once BBC do drop boxing i hope SKY bring in Woodhall..he's brilliant.

I think we need a Ron Akistion, but he sounds greek so would probably be biased during the olympics.
As for ron atkinson, we need another big ron. His victorian values and Santa like persona bring much needed yuletide fun to the proceedings. How can such a loveable man be erased from our sporting screens? Codswallop. did anyone see him on room 101?

Why the fornicate are the BBC showing so much Equestrian (sp?), everytime I turn them on its on the main channel. Who gives a fornicate, even if their is British interest in it. The average man turns on and doesn't want to see this, theirs been some pretty good fights, far better than this shit.

I was just saying that on another thread. It was funny to listen to. His last part was correct.

Yes, they delayed Amir Khan's 1st fight on monday, so we could watch a horse walking sideways.
I think the coverage of the olympics thus far has been apalling, loads of errors, and only showing events where we have medal hopes. Who the fornicate cares about bloody shooting, sailing, synchronised gay diving, equestrianism and kayaking!!!
I would like to actually see more of the boxing tournament as a whole, as it's actually one of the sports which is interesting to watch prior to the track and field. Swimming is good, and some of the gymnastics too, but gymnastics doesn't half go on.

Synchronised gay diving? Tell that one to Tony Ally. I'm behind you all the way...very fornicating far behind you! This bloke has an unbelievable physique and I'm sure I read somewhere he fancied giving the amateur code a go before his time was up:

This is true.
If there is anything gayer than 2 men in matching trunks prancing in perfect unison, then I don't want to hear about it.
But to be fair to the beeb, if you have interactive, then they are showing every single boxing bout....(unless I'm lying, but i'm pretty sure I'm not).

He looks about 45 already though, yes admittedly, I don't think I would call him a puff without the aid of a megaphone, bullet proof glass, wild horses and a sawn off shotgun, but the sport itself is very gay looking. I mean impressive as it might be to do, it's not a sport, it's aesthetics.

Get digital or broadband then. I've been watching a fair bit of the tournament at work through the BBC broadband site. Honestly, you London bumpkins wouldn't know technology if it bit you in the arse!

Just about to move house einstein, and the place where I was living was a victorian block of flats with no cabling, and you weren't allowed
I might get a freeview box, but I'm moving house this sunday anyway, and I will have sky there and broadband as soon as Tiscali get their fingers out of their asses.

If you are going to join the rest of civilisation (

) I'd steer clear of Tiscali mate. We had them at work and they're fornicating bollocks. We've moved to Demon now, who are merely very, very bad. If you're moving to somewhere with cable access, get that. Then you're bandwidth won't vanish as more people in your area sign up.
Londoners using broadband and freeview eh? You'll be walking on your hindlegs and shaving your palms next...

Eurosport have been doing that all week!!

I know that. It wasnt like Eurosport where they minimize the boxing picture for a min or two. They cut off the total coverage and never said the result and we dont even have anyone left in the archery competition
