Vasyl Lomachenko - daring to be great

Of course that Berchelt, Corrales and Salido II would be good fights but I think Garcia and Crawford are the best fights that could be made for Lomachenko.

Yup, but the high profile fights are up.Horse wrote:He shouldn't move up.
Plenty to do where he is.
Once he goes up he is unlikely to come back down again.
He should go up eventually, but he should try to fight the best at his current weight first.apollo creed wrote:Yup, but the high profile fights are up.

I do not disagree. I am excited about boxing in general at the moment. Lomassiah is a chunk of that but so are Usyk and (for me) especially Gvozdyk.TheGingerBomber wrote:I think people are allowed to be excited by this fella, he's doing mad things in the ring.
Hype is why the sport is alive I'd argue, see the way the UFC build up all their fighters, Joe Rogan yells about each fighter being the best ever at something.

SOGgy v Krusher two is just around the corner. Brook v Spence is coming up. Hitman Jr.'s next fight is no joke. Gervonta Davis invading the UK is exciting.
When will the vaunted Beterbiev have his coming out party? Will GingerHead pass his circus act test and nutup to fight 3G in September? 3G should skip the mentally challenged Saunders and make the concessions necessary to get the Mexican diva in the ring.
Who will Mikey face next? How about Thurman? Speaking of which, Porter v Berto may end up being FOTY material.
Then there is the most important fight (by far) of all; AJ v Wlad.
Boxing is alive and well. Lomassiah is a small (though important) slice of it.
I hope that there was something attractive in that bedSaadOffTheDeck wrote:Highly skilled fighter, that being said, I went to bed after the 5th round(watched the UFC first). Not that it was boring, just brutally uncompetitive and max was and nard are horrible together.
Anything was more attractive than sitting through anymore of that mismatch.boxing_rocks wrote:I hope that there was something attractive in that bedSaadOffTheDeck wrote:Highly skilled fighter, that being said, I went to bed after the 5th round(watched the UFC first). I'm so with youlittlepug wrote:getting sick with all this jumping around the weights, pick a division, win all the belts and then defend the sh!t outta them is another way to become great

Personally, I agree, but if he waits long, then Mikey will not be at 135 anymore, and morons will forever blame Loma like they blame GGG for not fighting Ward.klitoris wrote:Lomachenko should NOT MOVE UP.
And I'm saying this as probably his biggest fan. Stay at the division, rematch Salido, unify at least with one other title holder, then maybe move up.
Ya, I don't know why people keep going on about it like there's a good chance of it happening. Haymon + Arum + a fighter who was inactive for 2 years in a dispute with Arum = not likelySaadOffTheDeck wrote:Loma/Mikey is highly unlikely.
It would be their highest payday for both of them, so who knows. We also don't know if Loma stays with Arum if he feels that Bob limits his opportunities.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Loma/Mikey is highly unlikely.
