What would you say Wladimir's best win is?
I thought the Povetkin win is one that stands out for me. Also, how he handled Haye was impressive.

Povetkin's fight was too dirty to consider it the best win..

Not his best win, but his performance against Pulev showed signed of his old self.

1.David Haye
2.Kubrat Pulev
3.Alexander Povetkin
4.Chris Byrd
5.Ruslan Chagaev
I think these five , are the best heavyweights he
has beaten.
He fought in a rather weak heavyweight era,
but the way he dominated them , was really
impressive.
His best win , must be the win over David Haye,
who was at his absolute best and definitely an
elite level fighter in 2011.

Against Pulev, he gave the best!
I hope he beats AJ, and then make Klitschko-Pulev 2.

That he won against all of them may be impressive, but the way he won.... not so much.

Pulev/Byrd/Chagaev were all impressive performances....

I'd say your list is pretty accurate in itself. A argument could be made for anyone of those five fighters for Klitschko's best win.
I think Haye is a good pick. Because of the pre fight build up leading to the fight. Haye was pretty good back then. I thought he had a decent punchers chance.

And David Haye had the WBA title and it was the biggest money fight for both.
Also David Haye was a beast in the cruiserweight division , where he had absolutely no competition.
A prime David Haye would beat most of the top 10 heavyweights today.
He would knock Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker out and would have a good chance against Anthony Joshua.

best in terms of quality of opponents? OK, here we go:
looked horrible against Haye, looked horrible against Povetkin.
I guess the opponents on his record who were approaching 'good' by historical standards he just couldn't deal with very impressively.

I guess haye. Very lacking resume. If he could beat AJ, especially at his age, it would do wonders for his historical standing.

Incidentally I love how Wlad is presenting his upcoming fight as experience winning the day vs youth when his so-called 'experience' counts for approximately nothing given the shallowness of his competition over the years.
He's built up quite the delusion, talking like a wise old sage who has gathered and absorbed years of pugilistic wisdom from his bum of the month club. getting splattered couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Who has fought better opponents up to this point, Wlad or AJ?

Wlad.
Too bad his sensational performance versus the marvellous 'face in the sky' Kubrat Pulev can't help him in this one!

I thought the win over Jameel McCline was good. At the time, it seemed impressive.

He had quite a few good "at the time" wins; McCline, Peter, and Brock all spring to mind. I remember Max Kellerman blithering on once about how Wlad would never risk the meal ticket against someone as big, athletic, and powerful as McCline. I used to post on eastside back in the day, and I don't remember many posters picking Wlad to beat Peter; I do remember quite few suggesting Wlad would be killed in the ring but such a big puncher.
Another good win was Sultan. Not fun to watch, but he shut out the guy who beat old Holyfield like a drum. And Briggs. Sultan was pretty good truth be told.

Best opponent or best performance? Haye and Povetkin are his strongest defeated opponents, though I don't think Wlad was particularly impressive in either of those fights. The Povetkin win looks good on paper, but Wlad held a ridiculous amount in that fight - far more than he should have been allowed to get away with.
In terms of the fights he looked best in, I'd choose from:
Pulev
Brock
McCline

It should be noted that Wlad has defeated two current top 10 HWs who both have just one loss on their records to this day. Now he is getting in with the most dangerous undefeated HW champion in the world.
Add Haye and Thompson and Chagaev and Chambers to the list.
But AJ will undoubtedly be the crowning achievement for Wlad, if he can find a way to get it done. I seriously doubt it.

The only drivel is you trying to lend credence to wlad's sorry opponents.
