I see Crawford vs Indongo for Undisputed-Undefeated bout soon...

After the shame of the fearful Burns losing to Indongo (in my card 120-108) I smell Crawford vs Indongo soon for all 5 belts.
* To not say after 10 years a Undisputed champion bout and a not seen 5 belts Undisputed-Undefeated bout.

It's a possible matchup but I personally dont think Indongo is quite ready for the likes of Crawford. Terence has an edge in speed and technique but Julius has the edge in power. I see Crawford winning a competitive but clearcut decision.

Would love to see someone finally become an Undisputed Champion. Hasn't happened for 11 Years since Jermain Taylor beat Hopkins. Would love to see it finally happen!
As for the fight it should be pretty competitive. Indongo got a significant amount of size on Crawford and he hits much harder than Postol.

Indongo is 34 and will never be ready for Crawford. Postol would be an interesting fight, but I would rather see him against Provo or Matthysse.

Crawford v Indongo is the fight. The African has earned the shot.

He's already beaten the guy that beat Matthysse, and Provo's time as a serious contender ended when he got a Boxing lesson from John Molina.

Definitely. There is no more deserving fighter at 140 for a major fight with Crawford than Indongo.

I imagine that Indongo is on Postol's level rather than Crawford's, but he's earned the fight.
Provo looked utterly horrendous last time out, being comfortably outboxed by John Molina of all people; he hasnt earned a shot and would probably get clowned by Indongo. Provo vs fellow slugger Troya would be the type fight that Id rather see him in...

I don't think Indongo can clown anybody. He is a slugger himself, just one with a very long reach preferring to do damage from outside. His defense is based on his reflexes and awkwardness, but not some good skills, so somebody like motivated Provo could do serious damage.

He already clowned Burns
How are John Molina's skills? He outboxed Provo 9-3 or thereabouts

You'd rather see him fight a likely retired guy or a welter? That's poor matchmaking for a unified champ.

You must not have watched Indongo today, or you must not have seen Provodnikov's last fight. I don't know which. I'm a huge fan of Provodnikov and would love nothing more than to see him return to prominence with a big win over a guy like Indongo, but I figure if he fought Indongo in the near future he'd lose a lopsided decision just like Ricky Burns did today.

No question, he'll get completely outclassed but he absolutely deserves it.

I watched Indongo pushing Burns around the ring today. Provo wouldn't allow that. What allowed Indongo to outbox Burns was not his boxing skills, but his huge reach advantage, plus power and speed advantage. Burns was very hesitant to try getting close, as he was pounded when doing so. Running around the ring was less painful.
Provo is never hesitant. He was taking huge shots from Matthysse and was still coming and landing some. I think he came to Molina fight unmotivated (and was unmotivated in the camp) which was the main reason he lost. Having 2+ belts on the line would fix that issue.
P.S. Yes, Indongo definitely deserved Crawford fight, but I doubt that would be a big money fight. From a viewer standpoint, I see it going almost exactly like Crawford vs Postol with Crawford cautiously outboxing Indongo and not giving him any chances. That could be quite boring.

I think that Indongo deserves the Undisputed bout, he has proven to be an ok boxer for it, a bit above average all around good boxer, he seems be some kind of a bit of a smart boxer in the ring, using his physical attributes to favor him such as good range, good power, average aggressiveness and footwork. He needs to stone more his punching skills and general abilities. Certainly is someone that will give a little trouble for Crawford but nothing above it and in the end Crawford will win on points, maybe something like 117-111.

The Provoglodyte has not earned a shot at
The Indongo, who has earned his shot by putting an undefeated Russian to sleep, in Moscow, and nearly shutting out a (over) seasoned Scot in Glasgow.
Time to invade Omaha.

Indongo vs Provodnikov wouldn't be particularly entertaining either. Provodnikov would lose a lopsided decision. You're acting like Provo is some master at cutting off the ring and landing big shots. He's not. That's why he has the losses he has.

He's acting like provodnikov is active. He's leaning to retiring.

Nobody would pay a lot of money for Indongo to fight Provo. Provo only time he was A side he lost by getting outboxed by a guy who couldn't box.

There's no question he deserves the shot against Crawford. He's picked up 2 versions of the title and is now one of the major players in the division. I think Crawford will win too but he needs to prove it in the fight, titles should be won in the ring, not the opinion polls.

People so much want to win fights with opinion. Instead of letting the fight happen.
