What did everyone make of him on Saturday and how far do you think he will go?

Personally I was impressed by him and was good to see a young prospect take on a decent enough opponent for his debut

A mate of mine was going on about him being shit because he was getting hit. I'm sure if he didn't want to get hit he wouldn't have, he was extremely entertaining and promising. He'll hopefully learn a lot from that fight and adjust his style for certain, more tough fights.

Yeah he did get hit but nothing of damage and defo slipped a lot of shots using his skills! I had a feeling he coulda gotten him out there if he wanted to and was just putting on a show and proving he could do the rounds with ease! Which I think he showed

Well impressed. Was one of they debuts that get you thinking about how far the guy can go. Good opponent for a debut and looking forward to seeing more of him. Don't know if he's lacking a bit of power but Byrne is pretty tough and game to be fair to him so time will tell.

Good opponent and good debut. Clearly has good boxing skills, looked comfortable on a big stage as well.

Good performance, cracking debut opponent in Byrne who never came to lie down, I was impressed, showing off with the Mayweather shoulder roll and Lomachenko pivots but I liked him, he looks strong as an ox, good punch variety and thought he showed decent head movement for a guy who looks musclebound

Ticked pretty much every box a debutant can. Only been a handful of better debuts in recent times.

Doesn't look like he hits hard enough. Great to watch though.

Reminds me a bit of Luke Campbell. Very impressive skills but just needs that extra power to really put him up there with the elite fighters.

When I first saw the result (I didn't watch it live as I had company), I was a little disappointed that he didn't get his debut opponent out of there.

But then I had a look at his opponent, and saw he threw himself into a 6-rounder, and watched the actual fight itself. Very impressed. I think if he really wanted to get his man out of there, he could have in the first half of the fight. Instead he really wanted to showcase his skills. Fair play.

That being said, he clearly has an ego, so hoping he listens to his coach and doesn't get too big for his boots. If he keeps his head down, does the right things, world champion, and potential star in the making.

He fights Jony Vina (6-1-0) on the Birmingham card tomorrow

Looking forward to seeing Kelly again.

I'm guessing he'll be campaigning at light middle ?

Another good performance from him last night! Still gets clipped with too many silly shots tho!

I think he said in the interview afterwards that he was looking to get down to Welterweight.

I think he's a terrific prospect and Booth is the perfect trainer for him but my concerns would be he seems to switch off at times and doesn't appear to have a great deal of power.

I second this. Booth definitely the right man to tame his eccentricity. He won't be able to afford such sloppiness when he gets to a more meaningful level. I think we could see him fight British or European level inside 10 fights, which is where I expect to see him at his best.
