Just to keep a eye on upcoming fighters. Il start off with Danny Dignum a super middleweight from Essex, he won the ABA's boxed on the gb squad. He's currently 2-0 stopped both, a skilful southpaw Who I think is with matchroom.

A few years ago two young lads Joe Ham (fought at weekend there) and Aston Brown used to come over to Colin Belshaws gym in Paisley quite a bit. They were amateurs at the time. Both Glasgow boys (Gorbals and Govan). Ham seems to be cracking on with his career but I don't know whatever happened to Brown. Watched him spar and he was very good. He turned pro but I think he only fought once or twice. Could've definitely seen them two pick up British titles. If anyone knows what the script is with Brown give us a shout. I actually just text my mate right there to see if he knows anything. Apparently Hearn was sniffing about trying to sign him when he was still in the ams.
I live in Greenock now and there's a young guy Sam Ball from over here that's supposed to be a bit of a prospect. Not had a chance to see him yet but heard only good things about him. One of my mates is a physio and has treated him a few times. Saw him fight as well and said he's shìt hot.

Sam Sheedy from Sheffield - close fight with Tommy Langford that he lost and robbed against Nav. Fighting for the Commonwealth title.

Started slow against Langford but had him going near the end if I remember correctly? He'd probably do him if they fought again.

I just watched Aston Brown against Conrad Cummings in WSB. Brown looked a very well schooled fighter just couldn't seem to deal with Cummings relentless style

Stephen Tiffney is a quality prospect. Started the year off in style with two quick stoppages, not a concussive puncher but his shot selection and variety is class. Plus the way he switch hits is something that comes naturally.
Not really local but Sam Maxwell is another quality prospect that should have a big future. Was fortunate to see his debut in October and he was different class. He's also got the amateur pedigree and experience.

He's supposed to be fighting Michael Roberts in Paisley (if Roberts doesn't crap out of it). Might go to that one depending on the other fights.

We have some good amateur prospects in my area of Dundee. We have a young lad Sam Hickey who is in position to be going to commonwealth games possibly. He's been transitioning from junior and is part of Scotland team.
We also have a cruiserweight from same club lochee who is doing well. 6ft 6 Ryan Dolan. He's only had 7 fights and was made to enter the elite and lost a very close decision but he's only 22 and will come again.
As for pros we have Jamie Wilson fighting for a British title. Ronnie clark looking to fight eliminator And Paul kean who's unbeaten in 3.

Grant Dennis from Kent for me, southern area champ after 6 fights. However at 33 he has left it really late and not sure how far he can now go.
Also, Oli Edwards is starting to generate a fan base around here and at 22 years old has time to develop at super middle.

Morgan Jones is always someone who catches my eye no huge names on his record but impressive wins vs good journeymen, just needs that step up for a title now to show if he actually has it.

Greater Manchester is pretty buzzing with prospects at the minute.
Some of my favourites to watch are Zelfa Barrett, Jordan Thompson, Anthony Leak, Luke Evans, Jack Flatley and Lyndon Arthur.

I like The look of Barrett but he needs to step up now took a quick look at his record and he hasn't fought knowone with a winning one yet.

I'm unsure why he's being held back to be honest. He's got a lot of skills. He's been put in a British SF eliminator but I don't think he'll take it. Was up for the English title and turned that down. I'd suspect it's weight. He's only made SF once, so needs to pick where he's gonna campaign. He's been in and around LW, and I think domestically that could be good for him.

Mason Cartwright.
Undefeated welterweight, 1 draw on his record due to an accidental clash of heads which ended the bout early.

He had a fight scheduled that I was looking forward to, but got cancelled with Kennedy/Simmons, think he was fighting a fellow prospect from somewhere abroad. Remember his name?

Josh Kelly looked promising. Isaac Macleod is a welterweight with a great amateur background. Warren Baister is still at prospect level but I don't know how high his ceiling is. Pat McCormack?

Any idea what he's done now? He's got that villain look in his eye.

Kieran Smith is one to watch. Recently out in Germany sparring former champions and did very well by all accounts.
