Magdaleno defends his WBO Super Bantamweight title against former Galahad opponent Dos Santos on the Valdez show, I remember Galahad fighting him but cant remember much about the fight TBH other than Galahad dominating him, I think he'll be fodder for an easy 1st defence for Magdaleno, Dos Santos has been KO'd early before and I reckon Jessie will blow him away as he's a quick starter

Yeah should be an easy defense for Magdaleno. Brazilians are badass in MMA, but there's not too many occasions where particularly good Boxers come out of Brazil.

Eder Jofre and Acelino Freitas are some of the few exceptions. That being said, Jofre is a WHOPPING exception as he may well be the best Bantamweight that ever lived. He's certainly in the conversation.

Magdaleno steamrolls Dos Santos in 2 rounds, he was landing crisp accurate punches in the opener and you knew Dos Santos wouldn't be able to keep taking them, Madgaleno put him down in the 2nd with a right hook which buckled his legs and he followed it up with a left hand to help him on his way, he then battered Dos Santos around the ring before putting him down again with a couple of clubbing right hooks, I thought the ref was maybe quick to wave it off without a count but TBH no way was Dos Santos lasting much longer, Magdaleno looked sharp again but he needs a better challenge next time
