Anyone seen much of the Irishman? Boxes Adrian Valdez tonight in the States. Remember people making a big noise about him across the water a while back but am sure his last few displays have been a bit iffy.

Last I heard, SRL had picked him to go on NBC's "The Contender."

There was a guy who used to hang around the Current Scene forum who used to push his name, i think he may have been something to do with Dunne's management team. However i have seen Dunne a few times on ESPN including the fight he was dropped and i have not seen anything to be excited about in all honesty I am struggling to see what all the fuss is about.

Ben was offered a slot on the contender but it was rejected as he wants to focus on his boxing career and feels he has a lot more in the tank than has been displayed thus far. His recent dip in form (and by this I mean the lack of KO's) is probably down to his recurring hand injury. My bet is that if his hand holds up he will KO tonight.....Watch for the big body shots...
