Just because Jacobs didn't get K.O it doesn't mean he won that fight. Dude should STFU and go after other top fighters from mw like Saunders, Eubank Jr, Lemieux and Jermall and create his own legacy and stop crying about being robbed, bla, bla, bla.

I like Jacobs. He probably feels he won the fight and that's his opinion. A lot of people agree with him. What else is GGG doing? Why not just get it on again right away if there's nothing else happening? GGG would be a fool to wait for Canelo because he's just not interested and is waiting til GGG ages.

I've been a fan of GGG since I first saw him a long time ago before he became mainstream and I'm a fan of Jacobs and his back story. Hopefully they do it again next. No point waiting about in this game.

I think Jacobs should fight Lemieux in an eliminator or Billy Joe Saunders for his belt and then the winner can fight Golovkin. Golovkin can fight Canelo whether he beats Chavez Jr. or not.

Wth are you going on about? Nothing you have posted shows Jacobs is a sore loser. In fact, your own post argues against your topic.

If GGG doesn't fight Saunders or Canelo next I see no reason why he shouldn't give Jacobs a rematch later in the summer or in the fall. If GGG does in fact fight one of those two though, there are other fish to fry for Jacobs and I'm sure a rematch could be done soon after he gets a few more wins under his belt.

Jacobs is certainly not a sore loser. He gave GGG a good fight and put his career back on track. He says he want to continue fighting only top MWs. I hope he doesn't let Haymon to match himself with nohopers or shelve for a long time.

Don't know why but I think Jacobs will fight Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam or Tureano Johnson.

I wouldn't mind him taking a belt from BJS and then doing a GGG rematch.

Other good options: Lemieux, Lee, Korobov, Derevo, Heiland.

I had Jacobs winning 114-113 but the chances of GGG giving him a rematch are slim & NONE. Regardless of whether you agree with Jacobs' claim that the prospects of a GGG-Canelo megafight affected that decision it's indisputable that GGG's handlers would never allow a Jacobs' rematch until AFTER a megafight with Canelo or someone similarly "bankable". A rematch with Jacobs would just be far too risky to put a megafight like that in serious jeopardy.

You clearly dont understand marketing. Do you honestly expect anyone to believe GGG's handlers WOULD allow a Jacobs rematch before a Canelo fight? It's just too high-risk/low-reward at this point in time.

A Jacobs rematch would bring GGG nowhere near the $$$ a Canelo fight would bring and if you seriously think it would then you are only putting your ignorance on full display.

Jacobs is wasting his time if he thinks a GGG rematch could materialize anytime soon. He needs to pursue the more realistic option of Saunders or someone similar.

If I had your credentials of 2500+ posts and still wasnt able to rise above "Minimumweight" class I would probably also spend my time trolling other commenters about how they "don't understand boxing."

Jacobs is past at this point. Golovkin defeated him while injured, so there is no point to do it again right away. On the other hand, Canelo and BJS have been on Golovkin's radar for a long time, and they clearly take precedence.

I see GGG's less-than-impressive outing vs Jacobs as more symptomatic of Golovkin's slippage than Danny's ascent. IMO the GGG of 2-3 years ago would have KOd Jacobs at any point in his career. I think GGG was equally unimpressive vs the blown-up WW Brook and really believe that even though Golovkin is only 35 he has lost a step.

Even so, I give GGG the edge over Canelo because Canelo's style is more vulnerable to GGG's skillset than Jacobs speed-based box & move style.

You got lucky. Cancer has wiped out my family so i know how lucky you need to be to beat it. But this whole story about him going to the gym and no one could believe what he was doing....Dude, let someone else tell that story. YOU aren't supposed to be the one telling it. He tells the story like he's the most amazing marvel of against the odds stories. Stuff it.

He lost the fight...CLEARLY and he was knocked down. How the heck does he think that he won that fight or deserve anything more than he's already achieved by the public's reaction to his effort. Jacobs gained way more notoriety in his second loss than any of his previous victories. I agree. SHUT THE F UP and go fight someone else and dazzle enough to get another shot. You didn't do what you needed for the first shot you got.

Sorry, I had Jacobs winning the fight 114-113. 7 rounds to 5 with a 10-8 for GGG in the 4th.

But what I really take issue with is your being so hard on a guy who has found hyper-motivation from beating the "Big C".

Condolences to you if you lost so many family members to cancer, but maybe you've seen it so much that it has dulled your ability to appreciate what a victory overcoming it has been in HIS life. Athletes are using the most bizarre things for motivation in 2017, so if a guy can overcome a KILLER like cancer AND use it for motivational purposes then more power to him!!
