My short list :

3. Crawford
4. Ward
5. Usyk

Considering Mayweather as retired, this is my top 5 list. I have to mention Rigo's weak chin and Ward's clinching/wrestling/holding, but this might be another topic. What do you think ?

Easy Loma! Not only he outclasses them but he makes fun of them as well makes it look too easy!

Ward and Usyk don't have particularly good skillsets.

I agree that Loma is the best among the other three.

I guess it kinda depends on what you're calling skill set? Technique? Or does it include athletic ability etc too

Loma. Rigo. Lara. Crawford. Inoue.

Ward didn't seem to have much skills last time I saw him, and that while his opponent seemed to carry more fat at the same weight.

Grudgingly Lara, and I would swap Inoue with Indongo after the Ricky Burns fight, that guy is stunning in the weight class now we got a proper look at him

Rigo and Loma do not have the resume to support that high of a ranking and both guys are way too easy to hit. Rigo's barely had a fight that he hasn't tasted the canvas in so his skill set can't be THAT great.

Bud Crawford is in a nice spot though and I agree with him being on that list. Effectively fights conventional and southpaw and that's pretty rare. In fact, i've never seen a fighter in my 35 years of watching boxing that ever did better...no one is even close. Hagler was good but no way near as good as Bud.

I can't stand Ward but can't argue with him being on the list after jumping up a weight class and neutralizing Kovalev. I didn't think that Ward won the fight but the bad decision overshadowed the real story in that fight which was that Ward neutralized Kovalev and is a lot tougher than anyone gave him credit for.

Usyk? Come on man. Let some fighters earn these accolades for once? Or do we want to just call every good Olympic boxer a great skilled boxer? This is the Pro's. Usyk is a slap fighter with no defense. He will get clobbered by the brass of boxing at this point. Give him time already.

Zolani Tete has to be up there.

You must be on something. Their opponents barely land anything on them. Loma's opponents quit out of frustration of not being able to land.

Opening this post, I did not intend to discuss about resume. On this list, only Ward has an excellent resume (at 168, and I don't think he won the fight against Kovalev). I will never agree with you about Rigo and Loma ("too easy to hit"). I wrote and I will repeat : Rigo's chin is too weak, and
this is the reason of "testing the canvas".
Obviously, we can agree about Bud....
Ward is pretty dirty fighter, but he is extremely skilful, and there is no man who can convince me the opposite.
Usyk is the best tehnician at the divisions above MW, and I am sure you will agree soon, very soon.....
