Am I imagining things, but did anyone else think the ring on Saturday night was smaller than usual?
If I'm correct why would anyone accept a smaller than usual ring when the home fighter needs as much room as possible to stay out of th way of a bulldozer?

Didn't notice anything at the time. Will have to watch it back. A smaller ring would've suited the wee Georgian dude.

I didn't notice anything unusual here...I remember watching Cai Zong Ju vs Etsuko Tada and thinking they had an hilariously big ring at the time

Perhaps the ring just seemed smaller because Khurtsidze found it so easy to cut off and get to Langford quickly so often?

I've seen other mentions of this too, but I didn't notice it during the fights.

Can't say I noticed it tbh

Thought exactly the same and just assumed I was seeing things because it would have only suited the away fighter.

I think the ring was fine, Lanford just couldn't stay out of the way.

Wow I thought the same when I was watching,just brushed it off though as I was drunk.

They did that in a fight in Australia earlier in the year - made ring 16 x 16 - smallest it could be under Australian Boxing rules.

Think they can very from 18 to 24 feet.

There was a German show recently with Culcay/Andrade and ring looked massive in that fight.

Yes I thought it was smaller than usual also, not sure it made a difference to the outcome of the fight but it could only of benefitted Khurtsidze.
