Could this be on the cards if Briggs beats Fres Oquendo in June for the WBA title?
How would you see Josh handle Briggs?

Joshua would stop Briggs in the 1st round
SHANNON BRIGGS IS SHOT. Are people so stupid they don't get this?
Briggs might not even beat Fres Oquendo. Anybody in the Top 25 would make easy work of Briggs. Somebody like Amir Mansour would kick his ass.

Shannon Briggs vs Tyson Fury or Tony Bellew makes far more sense.

i dont think so...briggs has a good a chance as any of the clowns, he would do better than charles martin!
its a poor bunch at the moment. wilders skillset is awful and he is champion, aj is powerful but limited in terms of stamina, fury is the best boxer but without the power. ortiz is an old mna but still has some power. pulev had been laid out by klitschko but is better than most, parker is a decent technician but his capability is not really tested yet. briggs is old but still powerful. I give briggs a 3 round chance against anyone.

WBA have given Joshua a voluntary apparently.
I can see WBA ordering Briggs/Oquendo winner vs. Ortiz next for the WBA 'Super' mandatory spot...

The Briggs vs Oquendo winner is about as soft a touch as it gets. I wouldn't be surprised to see AJ go ahead and accept the winner of that as his defense of the WBA title because it'd be a cakewalk.

Ortiz already has the 'Super' mandatory spot.
I think the WBA views their own 'Regular' Title below the 'Super' mandatory position.
A complete mess of a situation.
Briggs vs. Fury for the WBA 'Regular' Title would be fun...

Briggs would've beaten Joshua in his day, but that day was 20 years ago.

Why are people acting like Briggs is a relevant force at heavyweight? He's not even an active fighter.

Nobody wants to see this. It's a massacre and a waste of everyone's time. Even Eddie the PPV genie would struggle to sell this gash.
