He's doing fine until he loses whereby "the weight killed me".

He's got 22 days to lose 6 pounds. Should be okay, looks okay too.

If you have 30 pounds to lose -- and 3 months to lose it in -- you want to get rid of at least 20 pounds in the first 2 months.. Bear in mind this is Kell's dried out weight -- after he's been working out like crazy for 2 hours to sweat out as much water weight as he possibly can..

This simulates the drying out process so you're grinding down to where you can barely squeeze anymore liquid out of your body.. What he's done in the last 9 or 10 weeks is the easy part -- a good start.. The rest of the weight is going to come off very, very dearly -- because he's cutting down to an unnatural size.. It's one thing to make weight for the weigh-in.. You must do that or lose your title.. It's another thing to make weight and be at full strength.

How do you know that's his dried out weight?! His dried out weight is when he's limiting his sodium intake and limiting his water intake which is what a fighter does in the days leading up to the fight. He's not doing the latter now.

I'm familiar with the process.. though I was always a Heavyweight and never had to make weight myself I've seen many guys go through it.. However after a couple hours of hard training you can easily be down 10 or 11 pounds of water.. and you're not going to dry out a whole lot more than that without draining (weakening) yourself.. Some guys can get down farther than others I know.. It's freakin' amazing to see a lightweight make weight, put on 16 pounds after the weigh-in, and still look ripped as Hell.. Some guys are freaks.

I'm totally sick of hearing about Brook's weight problems, and am sure it will be used as an excuse if, or more likely when he loses to Spence. Spence cuts the same amount as Brook does. I have heard idiots say Brook gained "loads of extra muscle" for the GGG fight. Really? Tell me how much muscle you can "gain" in the 7 weeks of training he had for GGG?

Yes, Brook fought at middleweight his last fight, but that was 8 months ago. We never heard anything about his weight cutting affecting his performance in his last three title defenses. If it isn't the weight, its the eye, even though his doctor told him it would be stronger than before. After trying to find every avenue out of this fight to no avail, he will have to fight Spence.

Good fight, not an easy task for either. Let the best man win with NO EXCUSES by the loser.

Is there ever a big fight without excuses for the loser.

I'm tired of spence fans moaning about Brooks weight when the actual post states brook is doing the weight well

Because they know what the excuse will be if Brook loses. No matter how Brook seem to be doing at the weight per reports.

There's moaning about things that's happened and then moaning about future things they think will happen! What a time to be alive!

As I say to everyone moaning about Brooks weight, when spence loses don't brand him an unproven hype job who was never as good as was made out

Like I said before, let the best man win. If Brook beats Spence I'll give him full credit, and will be very impressed.

As would I. We both know Errol is a phenom and coming for blood, if Kell can handle him that's worth more than the Porter win to me. But I just don't see it happening, Brook is likely gonna get socked up. Can't wait to see it.

The weight won't be the problem. I love brook for doing this, he's going to get knocked out.
