Back in the day, I'd have believed he could have capitalised on the weakness, but now, on the showing in the first 5 vs Bellew, no chance.

I say this as a Haye fan as well

Promoters are gonna be very wary of Haye. He's got form for pulling out and after breaking down against Bellew potential promoters are gonna be even more apprehensive.

Even if he gets the rematch against Bellew, beats him and is unscathed I can see the big boys at heavy just ignoring him.

Haye looked terrible against Bellew, swinging like a pub drunk. Based on that performance Joshua would muller him.

I dont think Haye will ever be competitive at the true elite level anymore, and he probably knows it himself? It is most likely a couple of last big paydays he's after more than anything else.

I can think of a lot of casual fans who would still buy in to a Joshua/Haye fight and thats all that matters to Hearn and Haye. Its fair enough from their point of view because Hearn is a promoter and Haye is still a boxer so if people are willing to pay to see it then it can easily happen. Haye would maybe have to prove his fitness by coming through a Bellew rematch say but if he managed that then I think it would definitely happen and I would definitely watch it. Who wouldn't?

Hayes power was as much about speed than the actual level of how "hard" the punch was.

Ie if it's whipped in too quick that you don't see it, or you see it late, you're not prepared to take the shot and the result is pretty devastating

If they were hit a punch ball Wlad would be the "bigger" puncher I have no doubt.

Haye reckons he will be back in the ring by December. I am a fan of Haye but I think he's had his time and his body is broken. He seems to have lost a bit of speed which was one of his most dangerous assets too. Someone with his power always has a chance in a fight so if by some miracle he ends up fighting AJ I certainly wouldn't write him off but I wouldn't expect him to win. AJ has proven he can take a decent punch, something I had my doubts about before so the only way Haye could win was by stoppage. Possible but unlikely.

When Haye comes in at 210lbs I'll listen to him again. His speed loss could be down to the fact he was 14lbs heavier vs Bellew. Maybe due to hiding the injury too.

AJ also needs to be 240. They are all too fackin fat out heavies. Is 41 year old Wlad the only one in peak shape?

Hayes is shot to pieces, looked shite compared to what he was, come on, Bellew beat him ffs? It's a joke of a fight and don't understand why its even being mentioned.

Maybe haye can be ajs achilles heel......?
