I know AJ has a potential re match against Vlad and mandatory defences that are going to come thick and fast ......

But why do I keep reading that Vitali and AJ were almost at blows after the Vlad fight? I keep having news stories recommended to me saying about all of the bad blood thats there between the 2 blah blah blah

Its like there is a fight brewing......

Highly doubt it. Vitali is too old and too long out the ring. Would surprise me if AJ and Vitali were almost scrapping afterwards. It all seemed very respectful.

He obviously fought Purrity and Sanders as well after they'd beaten Wlad. Gave Peters a whore of a beating as well after he had Wlad down a few times.

Yeah it's highly doubtful. I don't doubt they had words but I'd be surprised if they were nearly rolling about. Not really interested in seeing Vitali back at this stage.

Interestingly, Vitali is still the WBC 'Champion Emeritus'.
So he could come back straight in to a WBC world title fight if he wanted to.

Like others have said , I don't think there is any heat between AJ and Vitali which makes me wonder why the press, specifically the online press are running with these stories.

Usually it is because they are trying to catch the general publics imagination

Vitali is 47 in a couple of months. Still looks in good shape though.
