David Haye says the punch Klit dropped AJ with would've knocked him out

Interesting comment from David Haye recently, he praised AJ's chin and said if Klitschko had landed that knockdown punch on him he would be asleep.

I don't understand that this guy keeps on having fans. Daffy is a complete lunatic, got destroyed by that guy that isn't even a real cruiserweight, and now says Joshua his defence isn't as good as his is :brick: , Joshua has barely been hit at all in his first 13 matches.

Destroyed by Tony Bellew?

Why make things up and lie? That's clearly not what happened. Either you're so stupid you think that's what happened or you are intentionally lying. Which is it?

Intentionally stupid is a respectable 3rd option.

Destroyed? I find these type of comments either idiot (lack of boxing knowledge) or reek of jealousy. I don't like Haye but the clearly objective opinion is... he barely lost with one foot. Barely lost... not destroyed

It needed to be on the chin. Looked like it gave AJ a sore face and he chose to go down and take a count.

Looks to me like he steps back after the shot, grimaces in pain then drops straight down to the floor. I think had the shot been 'bang on the chin' (copyright Jim Watt) he would have went backwards with the shot and landed flat on his back.

Was a text book straight right. Smashing shot and landed flush. There was a bit of a delay with the way AJ went down as well.

It would have put most people out for an hour, AJ did great to get up from it.

Just don't forget that this was not AJ's chin.... The punch was on the forehead.

While it was not on the point of the chin, Wilder would have resided in the land of twitch until medically revived from that shot.

However, I tend to agree that AJ decided to go down, understanding that he was thoroughly shaken, to avoid more damage. That is a further testament to the serious ring intelligence of the young man, along with spitting out his mouthpiece at an opportune moment, and messing with Wlad's verging on AI head.

It was flush, but on the cheek. Chin would have been game over. But what man could take that punch?

AJ's (admittedly large) forehead does not reach down to his upper lip. :shame:
