I've set that to record. I'm trying to watch a bit more UFC. Some fights are pretty entertaining. It's the grappling that puts me off.

This is billed as Toney's final fight, it's a homecoming, there's a world title of sorts on the line and Sheppard has lost every time he's stepped up from the club circuit; so everything points to a farewell win for JT.

However I hope that Sheppard has read the script because Toney could probably lose to almost anyone these days...

Toney's final fight will be the one in which he actually gets himself killed, I fear. And I wish I was joking when I said that. There will always be one more for him. How the fornicate anyone is licensing him to fight is beyond me. His p4p pomp was around the same time that Paul McGratch was winning player of the year. You wouldn't let McGratch play in a charity match now, but Toney is allowed to suffer more brain damage as a professional boxer.

Looks illegimate like the guy took a dive against Toney. I love James Toney so I wouldn't be saying that without good reason because I'm certainly not trying to run down one of my all time favorite fighters, but yeah...that doesn't look legitimate at all to me.

Unless he had taken a severe beating which led him to lose his engine then that stoppage is very iffy

Sheppard has been stopped a lot and was at one of his heaviest weights so maybe it was exhaustion or he just didn't fancy it anymore...

Out of morbid curiosity does anyone have a link to a replay of the fight?
