I was really anticipating Whyte / Wach. After Whyte beat Chisora and Wach beat Teper, Whyte - Wach would've been a fight of actual significance to the rankings. Winner could be at least #9, but arguably could even be #8.
Chisora - Helenius, on the other hand, held no appeal for me. That fight was just like... past its expiration date, and I don't see how Chisora could possibly lose. After Helenius lost to Duhaupas, he has more business fighting guys like Dimitrenko, Fedosov, Wawrzyk, or Mansour.

I was looking forward to Wach-Whyte... Hell even Joshua said he was anxious to watch that fight because he sparred with Wach. He couldn't pick that one.

Try watching any fight he stepped up in, aside from Helenius of course; fighting a guy with a bad hand and a bad shoulder can even allow Chisora to almost pull one off.

Chisora Helenius was just delayed, the reasons given were pretty vague, but it just sounds like something like getting the areana they want or something.

Me too. It's nowhere near Wilder v Povetkin or Fury v Klischko II in the league of disappointing cancellations, or even Parker v the lesser Fury (Hughie Indignant? ... Peeved? ... how about Riled? ... Hughie Miffed?
![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
) but these kind of fights are our bread and butter, I hate cancellations more than anything else about boxing ... even Don King.

Whyte/Chisora 2 and Helenius/Wach would make more sense. Not that I have any interest in seeing Helenius/Wach; I just want Chisora to get a rematch and don't think DC/RH or DW/MW would have been entertaining. Suppose it would be good for Del to get a win over Helenius after the first fight but would prefer a Whyte rematch.

It was a great fight as I was sure it would be. I'd been praying (not literally) for that match to get made. It was massively competitive and having watched and re-watched it, I still feel the decision could have gone either way. Certainly no rape involved as in boxing all the action has to take place above the waist

I think Dillian Whyte pulled out of the fight because he is the rumoured next opponent for Parker...Just a rumor though...
