Yes, go on then. My mate has just fought cancer off, somebody in the board knew and he got a goodwill gesture from them. He's been highly critical of them in the past.

The Board have had a benevolent fund for very many years. They have a committee who are responsible for making payments to ex boxers who have fallen on hard times. I make the odd charitable donation to this fund from time to time and I would encourage others to do the same. It is a charitable cause that we can all relate to.
