it'll be Frampton Quigg banter all over again.
Shane/Josh/Barry - Adam 'Creepy' Smith - Eddie/O'Hara/Sims
should be a fun build up...

Great news. Expecting a very good, competitive fight so there's not reason why the loser can't bounce back and get to the top. Credit to both parties for getting it made.

Seen people saying it's a Cyclone show on 5 so probably not.

Great news for British boxing. A young fighter from sky gaining reputation going to another channel without a purse bid.
Shows it can be done. I think Ohara is an absolute bell end. But FairPlay to him showing he isn't all talk.
We will see which fighter is the real deal.

This is great for British boxing to top prospects going at it early in both their careers. It feels like we haven't had a fight like this since Degale Groves. Taylor on points for me

I hope not
The attention should be all on Taylor ( and Davies will obviously attract attention) . This is his opportunity for him to take the throne as the King of Scottish boxing.
This fight is a big deal for boxing north of the border. The crowds look great and they need a new young guy to back.

Don't think it will be a as cringeworthy because Joe Gallagher and Quigg aren't involved. As much as I can't stand Ohara Davies he does play a 'heel' really good. He'll generate huge 'heat' in Scotland for sure. He will be in his element in the build up.

I used to like Taylor for this one, but I'm really not sure now. Davies is a real handful and very sharp

Great fight, really pleased with this but also very surprised too as I thought they'd avoid each other for as long as it took for one or the other to win a title of sorts. All credit to both fighters and camps for giving a real fight to the fans. OD is a bit of a knob but seriously talented too, still hope Taylor can win though, Scottish boxing needs a new standard bearer.

What type of fight do you see it as?
75/25 Davies?

I'm not saying that Taylor is no good. I just Davies is a level above and people will finally realize he's pretty good or they do what haters do and make an excuse after he wins this. I just he's better than most people give him credit for.

What makes you think he's so good?
He looks solid to me, but still fairly raw, and I'm not convinced of his power at a higher level. Matthews has been stopped about 10 times + was undersized + retired immediately after, and Scarpa didn't seem to find Davies' shots that hurtful. Not really seeing him as someone a level above Taylor, but maybe he will show me something new on fight night.
