huge step up in class tonight and came through with shining colours. i was a bit concerned although he has been progressing well the big step up tonight might have been a bit much, very pleased to be wrong. how oseju got up off the floor twice after those shots i will never know. it will be a while before he meets someone else with a chin like that.
the only slight criticism i have is he went a bit wild when he had oseju hurt and left himself a bit open, otherwise a cracking performance.nice movement, variety of pace and power ,looks set for big things. the fight was great to watch, one of those that you think you are on about the 3rd round when it is the 7th or 8th. if that is the standard we are in for this weekend it is going to be a cracker.

It was a terrific fight and yes Oseju is hard as nails to get up from both them knockdowns.
Agree that Hes a little wild when in finishing mode,he tends to throw lots of hooks and misses the right to land the left a lot.You just worry about him swinging into one when hes in that position.
Oseju was firing in them body shots early on which was definitely the right tactic but Zelfa took control of the fight. It was clear he was never going to stop this guy but very good performance.
Really like the way Zelfa has been brought on and most importantly hes active.Feels like hes out every month at the moment.

excellent fight, zelfra has great shot selection, power and fitness. looks like he could go all the way, maybe even the best prospect in british boxing?
the other geezer was a nutter, what a hard man.
really looking forward to seeing how zelfra develops, i havent been this excited about a young propsect since ricky hatton.

He's done a lot of sparring with Jack Bateson in preparation for this. Jack is very sharp. Well done, Zelfa (please change the nickname)

Nice win.
Oseju has been giving solid fighters trouble, though admittedly at a lower weight.

Great wee fight that I enjoyed it, I just had a look at Osejo's record before the show started and never realised he was the fella who drew with Kiko recently, also been the distance with Jhonny Gonzalez, Mijares and Gradovich, he also got DQ'd in the last round against Jezreel Corrales so I assumed going in he was durable and he certainly was. what a tough hombre he is, the knockdowns that Barrett scored were solid but Osejo just go up and kept marching forward, he earned his dough and i'd love to see him again over here
As for Zelfa I thought he was excellent, he looks a great all rounder and I think other guys at a similar stage of their career might have come unstuck against Osejo but Zelfa passed with flying colours. good learning fight that

Next fight is Ronnie Clark in an eliminator in July as far as I know, looking forward to it and believe he's made a mistake taking this fight. But all in all want real fights and this is one .

that is what i have been thinking, but i tend to get a bit carried away from time to time with prospects so wondered how the lads with more knowledge than me felt about him. he really looks to be filling out now and finding his man strength as well, i always felt he looked like he was late to mature physically, but he looks almost there now.

I forgot to watch this last night, hopefully I recorded it. I must admit I'm quite ignorant of domestic boxing these days, I just don't follow it like I used to. I'll give this a watch.

Zelfa is 100% the real deal.. You can see this early watching him that he will become World Champion. In my opinion outwith Liam Walsh he is the best Super Featherweight is Britain would fancy him to beat Ward and Cacacae right now.. Only questions mark I have is how his chin will hold out when he gets hit.. Very good step up next v Clark can see why they are happy to take this step so early every time Ronnie has faced good level boxers he has lost... Ronnie will need to show something that he's not shown so far in his career to beat Zelfa and I believe Zelfa is the best opponent he will have faced and vice versa.. I believe Ronnie's team should of looked at easier route he deserves that.. Frenois for the EBU title is a far easier fight than this one however it's always the hard way and unlike a lot of boxers he doesn't duck fights as a man that's a good thing in boxing maybe not so good

Said this a couple of years ago when he was on here. Basically calls himself the skid mark
Black Flash was bad enough but Brown Flash is the worst nickname I've ever heard in boxing.

I think Black Flash was a decent nickname.... but lord Brown Flash is awful.... apart from trying to live off his Dad's name, surely there won't be a single person who hears it that doesn't immediately think of a brown streak in his underwear.... except Zelfa obviously..... unless he's a secret scat fan and proud of it!

I believe Zelfa's team have taken the clark fight to early. Osejo has campaigned at a much lower weight and barrets team have basically based his whole record on fighting bantams super bantams and featherweights and even then very rarely Barrett getting down to super feather. Barrett is very open to body shots and although commentators on sky didn't like to credit them Ronnie gets right on them
From early doors slowing them down . Barrett looks like he didn't like being tagged from someone who doesn't carry that power, although Ronnie isn't a concussive punchers he's very strong . He awkward . Can't see how zelfa can be classed as a real deal without a 50/50 fight. Christ he's not even been in an 80/20 fight yet lol

Even just The Flash...ffs it's no rocket science. If he's going places he's got to be thinking about picking up fans from more than just his local area.
