Waking up to see Dirrell's taken a marginally late combo on the bell in his fight against Uzcategui last night. Goes down like a sack (looked like he was already in trouble from the first punch of the combo).

Uzcategui get's DQ'd and then Dirrell's uncle gets in and sucker punches Uzcategui right in the jaw.

Disgraceful.

He will go down for that. Similar to grant and he got time.

Dirrell is a joker he milked it to fornicate. It didn't warrant a DQ for me, Uzcategui was in the midst of finishing his combo if Dirrell didn't go down no way would the ref have DQ'd him.

Hopefully his uncle gets jail time for his assault. He should have slapped his nephew instead for being a total arseface.

his uncle is a clown. dirrell was already cool with what happened ,it wasn't deliberate.

That was a flush, full power shot too. Could easily have broken his jaw.

Uzcátegui was warned in a previous round for punching after the bell, which makes the DQ more understandable. Although it was very marginal.

As for the afters, scumbags. It is to be expected when the Dirrell's are involved, and his uncle will get time for it.

I thought the punch Uzcategui landed after the second was worse.

I agree in terms of a potential DQ. The one after the second was a nothing jab, but Uzcátegui was very much in control and was aware that the the bell had gone.

He showed a hell of a chin. Lawson landed flush on the jaw and he didnt even see the punch coming.

A cheap shot like that is an embarassment

Yeah disgraceful behaviour, ive not seen the fight but my mate sent me a link of the ending, I thought a DQ looked a bit harsh, the punches didn't seem to long after bell, I wasn't sure if the sound might have been out of sync slightly because we're talking milliseconds , Dirrell was definitely hurt bad though unlike in the Abraham fight so I can understand him not being able to continue

The uncle is an effing liberty taker though and has caused a lot of harm to Andre's career despite him doing nothing wrong, feel a bit for Uzcategui as well he should've socked one on the uncle

I can see the Smith v Dirrell build up being a pain. I remember when Brook fought Porter that Anthony Dirrell was on the undercard and they had this twat in their entourage screaming 'THE DOG IS IN THE HOUSE' and woofing look a dog at the top of his voice.

I assume that would have been Andre and Anthony's spare part brother. I'm surprised he wasn't involved last night, he is usually front row trying to get involved in anything and everything.
