Stumpy Little Pumped Up Clown

Who is that stumpy little steroid clown with the bald head, silly beard and glasses, ostensibly some kind of security but hasn't got a clue who's always at public workouts etc ?
Saw a video this morning of Kell respectfully laying flowers in tribute to the victims in Manchester I presume and this goon ruins the dignified manner of the situation by walking in front of him shouting "CABLE CABLE" at the top of his voice. Comedy gold. I'll try and post a link below.
Where do they find them ?

Cheers Pernick
So he's just a glorified pub doorman basically.
I first noticed how unfit for purpose these guys are during ring walks. What's the point ffs ? Either protect the boxer properly or get out of the fvcking way and stop trying to get your pudgy faces on camera.

Remember him making a human shield around ggg when he came over here and shouting "stand back....everybody back...." and there was literally about 6 people there and none of them gave a shit that it was ggg.

Doesn't come across as a top bloke, more a deluded, jumped up, steroid munching dwarf full of his own self importance, vicariously living out his lifelong dream to be a tough guy by associating with professional boxers
Didn't seem to be any idiots thinking they were Mike Tyson at the floral tribute this morning .... well maybe just the one

'Andy Brown Is A Kn*b'
Not a bad suggestion but I think "Stumpy Little Pumped Up Clown" has a nice ring to it

fornicate me lads, he's just doing his job. Was there not a cable in the way that his client could have tripped on? In that game you've got to get the point across.

How about a combination of both?
'Andy Brown Is A Stumpy Little Pumped Up Clown'
It's almost poetry with the 'Brown' and 'Clown' in the same line.
I sense there's more to your disdain for Stumpy Brown than just his evident unsuitability for genuine security work Pernick.

It's how you do the job though isn't it. He's talking to media guys in front of an early morning family type audience, not drunken louts late on a Saturday night.

Why single me out, you started this thread?
From an operational standpoint I find the behaviour of so called security guys at boxing events amusingly amateurish but I personally have no knowledge of any of them. Contrast them, for example, with some of the security details that PL football clubs have and you can visibly see the difference in standards

Some of these security chaps clearly believe their own hype.
A lot of doormen/security are useless in an actual tear-up.

Frazer Clark does the security as well. I bet a few boys would come un stuck thinking 'he's just your typical big lump ain't got a clue how to fight' doormen. With him being a top amateur though I dont think he would get involved in tear up with pissed up crowds

I tend not to frequent anywhere that requires doormen nowadays but when I was younger there was some right liberty taking arseholes trying to act like He-Man in front of wee lassies. A mate of mine was head doorman at a popular pub/club place in Glasgow and they had to let a couple of guys go for being wankers.
There's a couple of crooks who run the doors in Paisley where I grew up and they have guys working for em who don't have their badges etc... One an ex British champ who's been in and out of the jail. I get on OK with him and he's actually alright but from what I hear the rest of em are dodgy cùnts. Battering drunk wee guys about and threatening em about going to police. None of em will say fukk all because of who they work for. Makes me glad I don't go out as much now tbh. Too old and impatient to be dealing with fannys like that.

Yes mate a lot of wannabe gangsters amongst doormen, who are involved with a group of dangerous men, but ultimate are lackeys for those people & to them just serve a purpose
Bullying from doormen over the years has been rife, nowadays doormen are a joke anyway, take a few "security courses" & then man a door with a scowl, yet no real experience in a violent confrontational situation
I have encountered good doormen though of course but the majority of the time they are being divs

Good point.
Pernick, you joined today, but seem to know the site well. I wonder who your other account on Boxrec is?
Most security are narcissistic, its half the reasons they get into it, the other half is they are too thick to do anything else.

I recall seeing this Andy Brown character on tv I think it was with the Everton team I can't be sure. I recognised him straight away thinking WTF is he doing here he's a boxing bouncer.

I know the guy a bit. He is Ok as it goes, but does get a bit carried away, cant differentiate between a hooligan and a decent punter. This thread is a good example. Day-time, no drunks and a sombre occasion. There are more discreet ways of warning a subject about some cable.
Needs to work on his SPEAR tactics a bit too, but for most situations at boxing he isn't too bad at all.
