I was wondering if any PC boffins out there may be able to assist me in some way I am trying to sell my Compaq laptop but i don't know the specifications of the machine, does anyone know how i find out the gb, ram, mb and all that lot etc I think the main programme is Windows Xp. Thanks in advance.

if you go into control panel and system it should tell you.

i8f your running xp go to start, control panel then system - all info should be there.

this - http://www.belarc.com/Programs/advisor.exe run it and it will give you details of all your hardware and software.
