Adonis Stevenson has set his sights on the winner of Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev's rematch, in an undisputed unification fight.

'Superman' defends his WBC light-heavyweight title against Andrzej Fonfara in Montreal, on Saturday night.

Ward puts the IBF, WBA and WBA 'super' titles on the line in the eagerly-anticipated return against Kovalev on June 17, live on Sky Sports, and Stevenson has already called out the winner.

"My goal is to unify the titles with the winner of Kovalev and Ward," he said.

"I want the unification, but if not I'll make my mandatory. If Ward wins I want to fight him, if Kovalev wins I want to fight him. I'm ready."

Sergey Kovalev almost certainly "ducked" Adonis Stevenson when he declined to engage in a guaranteed title unification fight against the WBC champion.

Two years ago. I recall the Alvarez Chilemba fight as being the WBC Title eliminator fight. The winner would fight Stevenson. Alvarez won. Pascal will be Alvarez fourth fight since then. Wonder how Stevenson got around that. That's if my recollection is correct.

I've read this numerous times on various threads. And whilst you may be right in black and white terms, boxing and the politics involved make it just about anything but black and white.

Totally digressing, but do you believe brook ducked Amir Khan? He was offered a deal by Khan and told him to shove it...
