Does that apply to AIBA only? - the English ABA have different rules (not sure about Scotland, Wales and Ireland).

I thought it was as 4 fights and you had to be a reinstated amateur for 12 months before you could enter the ABA's.

I haven't Heard of one single boxer with more than 4 fights who has reverted to amateur in the this country.

I can't remember the actual number but I read a few years ago that a big number of pros retire having had less than 10 fights.

He was with Barry Hughes initially and he lost his licence because of all that court stuff. He then when with Gilmour and he said he was a total knob. Tried to use him as fodder at short notice a couple of times and took the nip when he declined. He was offered a fight on a Wlad Klitschko undercard against some undefeated prospect. Can't remember the dudes name. This was on the Thursday afternoon and the card was the Saturday. Was a weight above as well. Never looked after he at all. He was up for decent fights if he was given relevant notice. Tried to send him to Belfast to fight Stephen Haughian (spelling) at a days notice as well. Kevin McIntyre ended up fighting him and beating him as well. He had phoned me before he made a decision on both and I said he should go for the Belfast one because he'd have beaten that lad. The Germany one was a piss take as well and the money was gash.

My other mate is in the army and has turned pro recently but he lost his second fight and I think it's an easier life for him boxing am in the army. He actually coaches the younger guys and has a pretty good gig.

It used to be 4 a few years back - not sure now tho don't think there's a limit

There's a few 10-0 type pros on the WSB scene.

France had a couple in there squad.

I've heard a few stories about Morrison. Bit of a crook so the story goes. My mate couldn't go that Gilmour. All he done was sit and blow his own trumpet whenever he met him. My mate could've fought at British level IMO and that twat just wasted him because he wasn't a big ticket seller. It makes you wonder about the amount of wasted talent out there.

He has been training like a beast, hope he does him quick. The man is dedicated. He's becoming disillusioned however and in time I might take a more active role with him. Going through some serious shite with this divorce the now and it's fuckin me up a bit

Was with norrie and tony I watched him, he was the headline fight . Ronnie fought Michae stupart on the card. I liked look of Shaun but I'm sure he was fairly older even back then? Is he not mid 30s?
