I somehow doubt "one of the best legal teams in the world" would be allowing this to drag on for so long and still be so far from a resolution.

There is a great deal of incompetence surrounding the whole thing not least from UKAD

I'm beginning to think Tyson will never be a top fighter again.

I can see him having a comeback, not training, turning up fat (and Tyson looks terrible when he's out of shape) beating some journeyman by the skin of his teeth....and getting a title shot at whoever, getting a multi million payday....

Gassing, Getting outclassed and retiring on his stool or going out like mcBride - Tyson.

Retiring, spunking all his cash on Flash motors, drink and chang and ending up like an 80s heavyweight champ.

Yup , that is pretty much on the money , if he even comes back at all , which is very sad for him .

Any 80s heavyweight? champ just thinking how many heavyweight champs didn't have a big beak? Not many.

Apart from Larry Holmes, there seemed to be an 80s playbook for the champs.

1. Look fairly impressive coming up and winning the title
2. Get fat, don't train, became a cocaine addict.
3. Lose your title in an 'upset' even thought you've been training on coke and mac Donald's.
4. New champion crowned.
5. New champ goes back to number 1 and repeat

I'm not the biggest believer in furys abilities but I have a hard time seeing him retiring on his stool. His balls are his biggest asset outside of his size. The money fight is Joshua and he'd get smoked in optimal condition.

I think he's young still and has enough talent to come back and entertain us at the top level :bag:

He will be back when UKAD ok him to fight. he has always been volatile and disliked training so that's nothing new.

How much of the above was down to Don King? In one be bios about King they term this generation of HW fighters as the lost generation because Don wouldn't have them fight unless he said so. More political than boxing so they were broke, depressed etc sogot fat, turned to drink and drugs.

I don't remember it that way. Don fleeced them, but he always put together good fights.

There were 'feuds with the WBA/WBC(nothing to do with Don),Arum and later HBO and Showtime had their set of fighters that prevented a lot of fights from happening. It was still great though because there were many more excellent fighters.'
