Prime Jose Napoles vs Benny "Kid" Paret

Let say Benny "Kid" Paret survived the fatal third fight with Emile Griffith and continued to fight for the next several years taking every comer he faced and what if he faced a fellow Cuban in the prime Jose Napoles? In my opinion, Napoles would have batter Paret in his prime, but what is your opinion.

Benny "Kid" Paret was a good and tough welterweight. He had great stamina and good punch output and he was very strong on the inside exchanges. But, he lacked technique. Lots of it. He relied on his stamina and busy punching.
The great Jose "Mantequilla" Napoles in his prime was a different fighter than what I see on film of the early 70s decade. He had that great array of hard punches, especially, the left hook. He didn't seem to put enough effort, but when he was on attacking mode, he displayed lots of class and brilliance. He was a terrific fighter offensively.
I can see Paret's chin catching Mantequilla's left hook throughout the fight. I see Mantequilla beating the Kid up in the late rounds or UD.

Never thought Paret was that good at all. It was an embarrassing loss for Griffith to have lost to him.

Alot of people thought Griffith deserved the decision in the 1st bout.

The second Griffith vs Paret fight was at least a draw. I didn't see Benny Paret winning that fight. As a matter of fact, the great Emile Griffith won all three fights in my view. He was the better boxer.
When Paret won the rematch, h didn't want any part of Griffith again. So he challenged the great Gene Fullmer for the world middleweight title instead. Fullmer gave him the beating of his life. He was too strong for Paret. If Paret would have beaten Fullmer, I don't think that Griffith would have had that rubbermatch.

I wonder what happen if Benny "Kid" Paret never challenge Gene Fullmer for his middleweight title would Paret survive the rubber match with Emile Griffith?

Paret won the 2nd fight clearly. Griffith got more and more ragged as the fight went on.

We would not know how long Benny "Kid" Paret's career would play out had he survived the onslaught from Gene Fullmer and his rubber match with Emile Griffith.
