UK fight fans, another late night for us this weekend..

We've got a nice warm up before that..

Tyron Zeuge vs. Paul Smith from 9pm..

Then from 2am, we have Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev, which will most likely start around 5am..

We had Rigo vs. Flores on the undercard too..

So my fellow UK fight fans.. Who's watching Ward vs. Kovalev?

I'm gonna record it and watch on the Sunday morning. I'll watch the BT card on tv and stick the Smith fight on the iPad.

Can't wait for Ward Kovalev, definitely worth staying up for.

Watched the 24/7 preview show last night and loved Kovalev's sign off, delivered with real malevolence, "I'm going to end his boxing career".

Not sure what I'm going to do. Cancelled Sky Sports ages ago, was intending to get a Now TV weekend pass and stay up to watch it live, but have realised that I'm driving the family to Alton Towers early Sunday morning so don't want to risk being knackered for a 3 hour drive. Might have to miss the fight :witzend:

It's not like you can catch a replay Sunday, cuz you'll be busy..

How much are the Now TV weekend passes?

Just checked, £6.99 for 24 hours. Not bad value if you just want it for a one-off boxing event.

At a barbeque on the Saturday.

Thinking of pacing the drinking and seeing it through to 5am-ish. Torn between that and not drinking, get home for a decent kip and up early.

Cant wait for this I might even stay up for it although TBF I didn't think much of the first fight, it was intriguing but I thought after a great start from Kovalev not only putting Ward down but finding the target comfortably from the start it fizzled out, I thought Ward nicked it but it was close and I remember being hungover watching it which is tough when a fight lacks any real action

Think Ward will win again even clearer this time but maybe still not clear enough for some folk, it seems a pick what you like style from both men, I prefer the cleaner work from Ward, he worked the body well last time and it was his body shots that won a lot of rounds for me, Kovalev is obviously the harder puncher and his shots do more damage but not enough of them last time second half of the fight

Its gonna be another chessmatch and I see a 12 rounder but Ward wins for me

Motherfukkers. I'll check the listings and see when it's next on Sky :TU: Was wondering why I couldn't find it on YouTube.

Bivol on the undercard.

That hype train is approaching full steam :bag:

I am strangely not particularly interested in this fight...maybe I've been exhausted by all the bickering over the first one. Bivol on the undercard actually has me more excited :o

:oo :oo You're the first person I've heard say that mate. I'm looking forward to it but I've had that type of feeling before for a couple of big fights that I've struggled to get up for. May v Pacquiao was a recent one that springs to mind although I think a lot of folk felt the same about that one.

I feel the same way, actually shocked by how little I care.

I like them both, but not overly fussed on it. For me Ward isn't a light heavy at all. He almost devalues the other light heavies by being successful there (but also a part tiner). I want to see Kovalev vs Stevenson and Ward at Super Middle fighting the best there.

I dislike them both. Ward is a (clever) dirty spoiler with skills that he seems happy rationing, and his SOG stuff irritates me, whereas Kovalev comes across as a boorish piece of work. I'd be happy to see a conclusive result but expect a possibly questionable Kovalev points win to supposedly make amends for the first fight.
