Multiple sources have advised BS.com that heavyweight contender Bryant Jennings (19-2) is signing with Top Rank Inc. and that an official announcement is imminent.

Yeah I mean, I like Bryant Jennings, but he ain't exactly setting the world on fire. Didn't help that he's been inactive for a long ass time now losing pretty much whatever career momentum he'd had.

It seemed to me that Luis Ortiz gave him a worse psychological battering than he did physical. Klitschko is one thing but I think Ortiz gave Jennings previously unsuspected insight into his (BJ's) own limitations.

Just my impression but it could go some way to explaining Jennings inactively / withdrawal from the sport. If I'm right, hopefully he is now back and reconciled to his abilities relative to other heavyweight contenders / fringe-contenders.

I'd like to see him fighting, he's possibly still the best heavyweight boxer in America out there.

It's why Top Rank have signed him.. and getting Parker some US exposure.

Fit/healthy/in shape, Jennings belongs to the top 15 HW list, with a little bit of good luck, he is capable to defeat Parker.
