It's 'Conor' FFS! Have you learnt nothing from these important educational threads?!

I've seen it before.
Wladimir Vs Peters I
Lennox Vs Vitaly
Calzaghe Vs Lacy
Fact is that these are two accomplished professional fighters and anything can happen.
Connor is also highly intelligent, this is why he has made millions at MMA, he must realize that he has to do something dramatic to defeat Mayweather and that it will serve his interests much better to win than to lose. This is a man backed by the UFC machine and millions and millions of dollars, you can be sure that he'll be as prepared as he can be for this fight. Also, that sparring video from Connor, did he put it out there to show what a big bad boxer he is or did he showcase it to make Mayweather more eager at the negotiating table?
Either way it'd be a mismatch. Just jumping into one from the other has never gone well.Nightmare Roy wrote:RandomUsername wrote:This arrogant mocking from certain boxing fans smells all wrong.

All six names on that list were accomplished boxers, this is an ATG, against a none fight novice, if McGregor could fight MMA against Floyd, then I'd watch it. This is just a cash making exercise.
What I mean is both could box and fight MMA and it would be much more fair, this is just far too Much of a disadvange for Connor, he's a great MMA fighter but an average boxer at best against one of the GOAT's.BitPlayer wrote:Either way it'd be a mismatch.
