If it does, it's a complete cash out from both.

Khan won't take the fight because for some unknown reason he thinks he deserves the lions share of the purse.

They should just do it. Be a stadium sell out fight and like said about both earn a decent wedge.

Think Brook ruins him mid-late. Weight maybe an issue though.

I'm not optimistic, because the fight has lost a bit of lustre & doesn't interest me anywhere near as much as it would have in 2015.

Yep, anytime in the last 2 years it was probably the biggest fight in British boxing but I'm not that arsed now.

Khan hasn't been relevant amongst the top welterweights in years and now Brook has no future at 147 even if he was to beat Khan.

I'm not sure it's even a stadium fight now, would be PPV and sell out the O2 but can't see it being big enough except maybe Brammall Lane again or the Reebok.

It needed to be made after the Porter fight.

They've left it too late in my opinion.

Now there's no belts on the line. Khan I have no idea what his career strategy is except just going after the biggest money fight he can, canelo, Mayweather, Pacquaio, mcgregor. Regardless of if these fights are good in a boxing career sense. He's only a defeat away from almost being finished at the top imo.

Brook there's uncertainty about him due to another eye op. I hope he can recover but he's had 2 hard fights where he's been injured. His next fight will be at a new weight, there will be things to prove again for him

It will still sell I imagine. I could take it or leave it. I'd still probably watch it but not overly fussed if it wasn't made.

I was out with Kell last week, he's not seeing 147 again, and judging on what he said he weighed now, and didn't look that big, he shouldn't.

That discounts the fact khan is a greedy deluded egomaniacal publicity whore who alwayys wants the biggest slice of the cake.

If khan was reasonable like u say both woukd make a packet.irrespective of where they are at ....its a mouth watering fight.....brook has performed strongly in two fights which eye problems have ended....khan was outboxing canelo spectacularly for 4 rounds.......i think both can still improve

How can it possibly be a complete cash out from both?

Both of them are going to have a humiliating defeat?

I like Khan (& Brook) but he's fought ONCE in the last two years. Once. That's it.

And just four times in 50 months. Over four years.

I'd be well up for watching a Khan Brook fight but just having Khan fight again would be an event in itself.

But just to go along here's the line up for this superfight (to be held at Leeds football ground).

Brook v Khan

Quigg v Warrington (WBA North Eastern England Title)

Mark Heffron v Adam Etches

OK, my pizza's ready. Who else?

I actually think there is more appeal to the fight now - had Brook beaten Spence then I feel they would have been on different routes - now I feel there is only one route for both boxers. Although instead of it being a PPV event (I know it will be on Sky Box Office, so it will be a PPV) it is now more an eliminator type bout.

However, I do feel both (and most certainly Brook) should now retire.

They both need this fight. Brook really wants it but I'm not too sure whether Khan wants it. I agree that it isn't anywhere near as big as it would've been 2 years ago, but it would still sell out a stadium easily. The weight would be an issue, I think if Khan offered the fight at 147 - Brook would agree to it, but Brook would definitely try and have it at 154.

I'm not that optimistic that this fight will get made just like the Groves v DeGale fight.

Khan has come up with many excuses to prevent this fight happening. I have full confidence in Khan that he will be able to come up with many more.

Id watch it but it isn't the fight it was 18months ago that's for sure.

It has the feel of a cash out fight now.

If this fight happened 18 months ago and Brook won he would have went onto super stardom and Khan would have maybe got a crack at Pacman or Floyd ( maybe )

If this fight happens now where is it going take either fighter ?

The question is, where can they go apart from this fight.
?
There is literally no bigger money fight out there for either of them.
Khan may be deluded into thinking there is, but after nearly two years, there isn't.

The fight probably has more appeal than ever now. When Brook was champ it had the air of a demolition job defence. Now both fighters are damaged goods it has the macabre feel of a Loser Leaves Town match; someone's career is ending, certainly inside the distance, and it's difficult to predict whether it will be Khan's chin or Brook's eye socket that gives first.

This fight has slipped through the net.

Kell too big to make the lower weight. Khan inactive. No world titles. Kell having surgery on both eyes.

This fight is nothing to how big it could have been. Remember Ringside?

If it happens, it is hard to see where the PPV will be squeezed in this year.

It's still a good fight but will probably do less than half of what it should have.
